Abstract

Tanaman kubis termasuk komoditas hortikultura yang dikonsumsi secara luas dan banyak dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat di Indonesia. Pemenuhan permintaan kubis yang semakin tinggi masih mengalami kendala, di mana lahan budidaya semakin terbatas serta produktivitas yang masih belum optimal. Faktor penting dalam keberhasilan budidaya tanaman kubis salah satunya pemupukan. Kelemahan dari pemupukan melalui akar adalah tercuci dan penguapan. Salah satu cara untuk bisa meningkatkan produksi tanaman kubis dan mengurangi permasalahan pupuk akar adalah pemberian pupuk daun. Contoh pupuk daun adalah pupuk NPK cair. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi pupuk NPK cair terhadap pertumbuhan, produksi, serapan unsur hara, efisiensi penggunaan unsur hara NPK kubis, menganalisis hubungan sifat kimia media tanam dengan produksi dan serapan unsur hara kubis, dan menganalisis efektivitas dan efisiensi pupuk NPK cair berbagai konsentrasi pada tanaman kubis skala rumah kaca. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Februari–Agustus 2023 di Departemen Riset PT. Petrokimia Gresik Jl. Noto Prayitno No. 19 Gresik. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Kaca dengan rancangan percobaan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan: Kontrol (A); Pemupukan standar (B); NPK cair pembanding konsentrasi 5 ml/L (C); NPK cair uji konsentrasi 2 ml/L (D); NPK cair uji konsentrasi 4 ml/L (E); NPK cair uji konsentrasi 6 ml/L (F); dan NPK cair uji konsentrasi 8 ml/L (G). Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman maupun jumlah daun yang diamati mulai 14, 28, 42, 56, dan 70 HST, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot segar krop, lingkar krop, serapan unsur hara, dan efisiensi penggunaan unsur hara NPK kubis yang diamati saat panen. Analisis statistika menggunakan ANOVA dan jika signifikan dilanjut uji DMRT taraf 5%. Uji korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel berbeda. Keefektifan pupuk secara teknis dinilai dengan perhitungan Nilai Relativitas Agronomi (RAE). Aplikasi pupuk NPK cair berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot segar krop, lingkar krop, serapan unsur hara P dan K, dan efisiensi penggunaan unsur hara P dan K tanaman kubis (p value 0,066-0,933). Namun, aplikasi pupuk NPK cair berpengaruh signifikan terhadap serapan unsur hara N dan efisiensi penggunaan unsur hara N tanaman kubis. Sifat kimia media tanam berupa pH tanah berkorelasi dengan lingkar krop, P-total tanah berkorelasi dengan bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, dan bobot segar krop (r = 0,78-0,82). P-total tanah berkorelasi dengan serapan unsur hara P dan pH tanah berkorelasi dengan serapan unsur hara K tanaman kubis (r = 0,79 dan -0,87). Pupuk NPK cair berbagai konsentrasi efektif dibandingkan pemupukan standar, di mana secara statistik sama dengan perlakuan pupuk standar dan nilai RAE > 95%. English Abstract

Cabbage plants are a horticultural commodity that is widely consumed and widely cultivated by people in Indonesia. Meeting the increasing demand for cabbage is still experiencing obstacles, where cultivation land is increasingly limited and productivity is still not optimal. One important factor in the success of cultivating cabbage is fertilization. The disadvantage of fertilizing through the roots is that it is leaching and evaporation. One way to increase cabbage production and reduce root fertilizer problems is to apply foliar fertilizer. An example of foliar fertilizer is liquid NPK fertilizer. This research aimed to analyze the effect of liquid NPK fertilizer application on growth, production, nutrient uptake, and efficiency of cabbage NPK nutrient use, analyze the correlation between soil chemical properties of planting media with cabbage production and nutrient uptake, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of liquid NPK fertilizer in various concentrations on greenhouse-scale cabbage plants. The research was carried out starting in February–August 2023 at the Research Department of PT. Petrokimia Gresik Jl. Noto Prayitno No. 19 Gresik. The research was conducted in a Greenhouse with a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) experimental design with 7 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments applied: Control (A); Standard fertilization (B); Comparative liquid NPK concentration 5 ml/L (C); Liquid NPK test concentration 2 ml/L; (D) Liquid NPK test concentration 4 ml/L (E); Liquid NPK test concentration 6 ml/L (F); and Liquid NPK test concentration 8 ml/L (G). Observation parameters include plant height and number of leaves observed starting 14, 28, 42, 56, and 70 DAP, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, crop fresh weight, crop circumference, nutrient uptake, and NPK nutrient use efficiency of cabbage observed at harvest. Statistical analysis uses ANOVA and if significant continues with the DMRT test at 5% level. Correlation test to determine the relationship between different variables. The effectiveness of fertilizer is technically assessed by calculating the Relative Agronomic Effectiveness (RAE). The application of liquid NPK fertilizer gave not significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, crop fresh weight, crop circumference, P and K nutrient uptake, and efficiency of P and K nutrient use in cabbage plants (p value 0,066-0,933). However, the application of liquid NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on the N nutrient uptake and efficiency of N nutrient use in cabbage plants. The chemical properties of planting media in the form of soil pH correlated with crop circumference, soil P-total correlated with plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, and crop fresh weight (r = 0.78-0.82). Soil P-total correlated with P nutrient uptake and soil pH correlated with K nutrient uptake in cabbage plants (r = 0,79 and -0,87). Liquid NPK fertilizer of various concentrations is effective compared to standard fertilizer, which is statistically the same as standard fertilizer treatment and the RAE value is > 95%. Treatment F was the most effective and efficient treatment with an increase in effectiveness of 128% compared to standard fertilization.
