Abstract

Hutan di Kalimantan Utara memiliki luas jutaan hektar menurut laporan akhir rencana tata ruang wilayah Provinsi Kalimantan Utara dan kajian lingkup hidup nomor SK.718/Menhut-II/2014. Hutan seluas itu dipercayakan dinas kehutanan Kalimantan Utara kepada Kelompok Usaha Perhutanan Sosial (KUPS). Bentuk izin yang diberikan meliputi perizinan perhutanan sosial, program yang dilakukan pada perhutanan sosial, dan juga pemanfaatan hasil hutan yang diolah termasuk untuk dijual. Di lain sisi dinas kehutanan Kalimantan Utara merasa masih terkendala dalam penjualan hasil hutan yang diproduksi oleh setiap KUPS. Hal tersebut terjadi karena proses penjualan atau pemasaran yang dilakukan masih dalam skala kecil dan masih bergantung kepada acara atau festival yang mungkin diadakan oleh pihak tertentu. Dalam penelitian ini dibuat solusi untuk masalah tersebut berupa aplikasi berbasis website yang terintegrasi dengan website milik Dinas Kehutanan Kalimantan Utara. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan difokuskan kepada fungsionalitas yang nantinya diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pemasaran produk yang dilakukan oleh masing-masing KUPS. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan model iterative waterfall dengan dua kali iterasi. Hasil dari analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan terbentuk 29 buah kebutuhan fungsional meliputi tawar menawar, manajemen produk, serta fungsionalitas lain untuk menunjang fungsional utama dari aplikasi ini. Selain itu dalam implementasinya penelitian ini menggunakan framework Laravel, MySQL database, serta menggunakan bahasa pemrogramman PHP. Setelah terbentuk aplikasi, dilakukan pengujian user acceptance testing (UAT) dengan hasil 82,4% untuk iterasi pertama dan 91,6% untuk iterasi kedua, serta pengujian usability menggunakan nielsen’s attribute of usability (NAU) dengan hasil presentasi diatas angka 4,00 dari iterasi pertama dan kedua untuk tiga aspek yang menunjang fungsionalitas yaitu learnability, memorability, dan satisfaction. Hasil pengujian tersebut menunjukan bahwa tingkat persetujuan pada aplikasi ini sudah baik.

English Abstract

Forests in North Kalimantan cover millions of hectares according to the final report of the North Kalimantan Provincial Spatial Plan and Life Scope Study number SK.718/Menhut-II/2014. This vast forest is entrusted by the North Kalimantan forestry service to the Social Forestry Business Group (KUPS). The form of permission given includes social forestry licensing, programs carried out in social forestry, and also the use of processed forest products including for sale. On the other hand, the North Kalimantan forestry service feels constrained in selling forest products produced by each KUPS. This happens because the sales or marketing process carried out is still on a small scale and still depends on events or festivals that may be held by certain parties. In this research, a solution to the problem is made in the form of a web-based application that is integrated with the website of the North Kalimantan Forestry Service. The application developed is focused on functionality that is expected to meet the needs of product marketing carried out by each KUPS. The research method used an iterative waterfall model with two iterations. The results of the needs analysis conducted formed 29 functional requirements including bargaining, product management, and other functionality to support the main functionality of this application. In addition, in its implementation, this research uses the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and uses the PHP programming language. After the application is formed, user acceptance testing (UAT) is carried out with the results of 82.4% for the first iteration and 91.6% for the second iteration, as well as usability testing using Nielsen's attribute of usability (NAU) with presentation results above 4.00 from the first and second iterations for three aspects that support functionality, namely learnability, memorability, and satisfaction. The test results show that the level of approval on this application is good.
