Abstract

PG. Krebet Baru adalah salah satu pabrik gula di Kota Malang yang merupakan anak usaha dari PT Rajawali I. PG Krebet Baru memiliki produk utama berupa gula kristal putih Superior High Sugar (SHS) dan produk sampingan berupa tetes tebu, minuman Sugar Cane Juice, Dark/Light Brown Sugar, dan kecap manis. Dalam pelaksanaan prinsip K3, PG Krebet Baru masih belum maksimal. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan beberapa kondisi seperti pekerja yang tidak menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan area kerja berdekatan dengan mesin atau komponen berujung lancip atau bersisi tajam dan tidak adanya sosialisasi mengenai peraturan yang harus dipatuhi maupun larangan terkait K3 kepada tamu yang berkunjung. Kurangnya pelaksanaan prinsip K3 ini juga terbawa hingga aktivitas di lantai produksi sehingga terdapat potensi-potensi bahaya yang muncul khususnya pada aktivitas masa maintenance bagian instalasi yang merupakan bagian dengan kecelakaan kerja paling banyak berdasarkan data kecelakaan kerja tahun 2016-2022. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan Identifikasi bahaya, penilaian risiko, dan pemberian rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan temuan potensi bahaya pada aktivitas masa maintenance di bagian instalasi PG Krebet Baru menggunakan metode Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS). Penilaian risiko dilakukan dengan acuan AS/NZS 4360 (Australian Standard/New Zealand 4360). Kemudian rekomendasi perbaikan dilakukan berdasarkan hierarki pengendalian risiko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 25 potensi bahaya yang terdiri dari 14 risiko kategori risiko rendah dan 11 risiko kategori risiko tinggi. Kemudian pemberian risiko yang dapat diterapkan adalah pemeriksaan dan pelumasan wire rope, penggunaan barricade line, Penggunaan topeng las, masker, safety glasses, dan sarung tangan safety, penggunaan katrol listrik, meja portable, pijakan baja, pemeriksaan dan perawatan rantai, serta pengawasan aktivitas dan penerapan sistem hukuman terkait K3.

English Abstract

PG. Krebet Baru is one of the sugar factories in Malang City which is a subsidiary of PT Rajawali I. PG Krebet Baru has a main product in the form of Superior High Sugar (SHS) white crystal sugar and by-products in the form of molasses, Sugar Cane Juice drink, Dark/Light Brown Sugar, and sweet soy sauce. In the implementation of OHS principles, PG Krebet Baru is still not optimal. This is indicated by several conditions such as workers who do not use personal protective equipment (PPE) with work areas adjacent to machines or components with sharp edges or sharp sides and the absence of socialization of regulations that must be obeyed or prohibitions related to OHS to visiting guests. The lack of implementation of OHS principles is also carried over to activities on the production floor so that there are potential hazards that arise, especially in the maintenance activities of the installation section which is the section with the most work accidents based on work accident data for 2016-2022. Therefore, it is necessary to identify hazards, assess risks, and provide recommendations for improvement based on the findings of potential hazards in maintenance activities in the installation section of PG Krebet Baru using the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS) method. Risk assessment is carried out with reference to AS/NZS 4360 (Australian Standard/New Zealand 4360). Then improvement recommendations are made based on the risk control hierarchy. The results showed that there were 25 potential hazards consisting of 14 low risk category risks and 11 high risk category risks. Then the risk administration that can be applied is the inspection and lubrication of wire ropes, the use of barricade lines, the use of welding masks, masks, safety glasses, and safety gloves, the use of electric pulleys, portable tables, steel footholds, inspection and maintenance of chains, as well as supervision of activities and the application of penalty systems related to OHS.
