Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata yang semakin pesat berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya industri perhotelan. Hal ini dikarenakan hotel ikut berperan dalam menunjang sektor ekonomi pariwisata. Hotel adalah akomodasi yang menyediakan pelayanan jasa penginapan, penyedia makanan dan minuman, serta fasilitas jasa lainnya yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat umum. Untuk memuaskan dan memaksimalkan layanan yang diberikan tentunya tidak hanya membutuhkan SDM yang berkualitas, tetapi kualitas barang dan bahan yang dimiliki hotel juga harus berkualitas, sepertia contohnya pada penjualan makanan dan minuman di restoran hotel. Pada proses pembelian sampai penerimaan barang hotel memiliki standar kualitas barang tersendiri, standar tersebut harus diperhatikan oleh departemen penerima atau receiving. Receiving bertanggung jawab besar dalam proses penerimaan barang, receiving harus menjalankan penerimaan sesuai prosedur yang ada mulai dari langkah penerimaan sampai kualitas barang dan bahannya. Pada penelitian ini peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana cara receiving section di The One Legian menerima barang agar sesuai dengan standar yang sudah ditentukan, dan apa saja kendala yang sering ditemukan. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif, mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara, peneliti mendapatkan bahwa receiving section di The One Legian Hotel menjalankan proses penerimaan sesuai dengan SOP yang ada, penerapannya pun sudah terbukti akurat sehingga mampu meningkatkan efisiensi The One Legian Hotel, serta peneliti mendapatkan bahwa kesulitan receiving section yang sering dialami saat penerimaan barang kategori makanan, karena memiliki standar yang lebih diperhatikan.

English Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of the tourism industry has an impact on the growth of the hotel industry. This is because hotels play a role in supporting the tourism economic sector. A hotel is accommodation that provides lodging services, food and drink providers, and other service facilities that can be used by the general public. To satisfy and maximize the services provided, of course, you not only need quality human resources, but the quality of the goods and materials owned by the hotel must also be of high quality, for example when selling food and drinks in hotel restaurants. In the process of purchasing until receiving goods, hotels have their own quality standards for goods, these standards must be taken into account by the receiving or receiving department. Receiving has a big responsibility in the process of receiving goods, receiving must carry out the reception according to existing procedures starting from the receiving steps to the quality of the goods and materials. In this study, researchers want to know how the receiving section at The One Legian receives goods so that they comply with predetermined standards, and what obstacles are often encountered. Using qualitative research methods, collecting data through observation and interviews, the researcher found that the receiving section at The One Legian Hotel carried out the reception process in accordance with the existing SOP, its implementation has been proven to be accurate so as to increase the efficiency of The One Legian Hotel, and the researcher found that there were difficulties The receiving section is often experienced when receiving food category goods, because it has more attention to standards.
