Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi kehidupan kita, termasuk penggunaan smartphone. Untuk mendukung perkembangan ini, industri perlu meningkatkan kualitas SDM. Salah satu indikatornya adalah mengamati presensi pegawai. Meskipun telah ada teknologi presensi, PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo masih menghadapi masalah dengan metode scan sidik jari yang kurang efektif. Dalam konteks ini, ada peluang untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses presensi di perusahaan tersebut. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dirancanglah UI/UX aplikasi “Hub Arkatama” yang berisi fitur presensi online, rekap presensi, dan perizinan online sebagai fitur utama dari aplikasi tersebut dengan tujuan meningkatkan efektivitas presensi bagi pegawai di PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan metode perancangan menggunakan metode design thinking dalam perancangan UI/UX dari aplikasi “Hub Arkatama”. Setelah dilakukan perancangan, kemudian rancangan UI/UX aplikasi “Hub Arkatama” diujikan kepada calon pengguna menggunakan metode testing blackbox dengan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) didapatkan hasil akhir bahwa rancangan UI/UX aplikasi tersebut dinilai acceptable . Disimpulkan bahwa rancangan UI/UX aplikasi "Hub Arkatama" memiliki desain UI/UX yang diterima oleh calon pengguna, fitur presensi online yang efisien, dan mudah digunakan. Desain UI/UX aplikasi "Hub Arkatama" perlu dikembangkan dan ditambah fitur utama seperti manajemen tugas untuk menjadi super app, disesuaikan dengan tren desain UI/UX terkini, dan memiliki potensi untuk dilanjutkan oleh peneliti lain guna meningkatkan tingkat kesempurnaan.

English Abstract

The development of technology has influenced our lives, including the use of smartphones. To support this development, industries need to improve the quality of their human resources. One indicator is monitoring employee attendance. Despite the availability of attendance technology, PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo still faces issues with the ineffective fingerprint scanning method. In this context, there is an opportunity to enhance the effectiveness of the attendance process in the company. To address this issue, the UI/UX design of the "Hub Arkatama" application was created, which includes online attendance, attendance recap, and online permission as its main features, aiming to improve the attendance efficiency for employees at PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo. The research method used was qualitative, employing design thinking in the UI/UX design of the "Hub Arkatama" application. After the design phase, the UI/UX design of the "Hub Arkatama" application was tested with potential users using the blackbox testing method with the System Usability Scale (SUS), resulting in an acceptable evaluation of the UI/UX design. In conclusion, the UI/UX design of the "Hub Arkatama" application is accepted by potential users, providing efficient online attendance features that are easy to use. The design of the "Hub Arkatama" application needs further development, including adding main features such as task management to become a super app, aligning with current UI/UX design trends, and having the potential for further improvement by other researchers.
