Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran future time perspective terhadap personal growth initiative. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berada pada akhir masa studi dan berusia diantara 20-28 tahun. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 55 responden dengan kriteria S1 dan sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan dua skala transadaptasi yaitu Future Time Perspective Scale dan Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS statistic version 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat peran variabel future time perspective terhadap personal growth initiative.
English Abstract
This research aims to determine the role of future time perspective in personal growth initiative. The respondents in this study are college students who are in the final year of their studies and aged between 20 and 28 years old. The total number of respondents in this research is 55, and they are all undergraduate students currently working on their thesis (S1 level). The data collection technique used is accidental sampling. Data was obtained using two adapted scales, namely the Future Time Perspective Scale and the Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II. This study employed simple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS statistical software version 22. The results of this research indicate that there is no significant role of the future time perspective variable in personal growth initiative.
