Abstract

Dinas Kepemudaan,Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Jombang merupakan salah satu perangkat yang memiliki tugas untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia pada bidang kepemudaan, olahraga, dan pariwisata agar dapat didayagunakan secara optimal. Pada bidang pariwisata Dinas Kepemudaan, Olaharga, dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Jombang memiliki website yang digunakan untuk mempromosikan pariwisata tersebut. Di Jombang sendiri terdapat beberapa turis asing yang mengunjungi wilayah kabupaten Jombang setiap tahunnya. Tetapi sayangnya, pada website pariwisaa Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata hanya terdapat informasi dengan Bahasa Indonesia, oleh karena itu perlunya versi Bahasa Inggris agar bisa mempemudah turis asing mendapatkan informasi. Ada beberapa prosedur yang digunakan dalam menerjemahkan website pariwisata Jombang dari Bahasa Indonesia ke Bahasa Inggris yaitu memahami hasil terjemahan ke supervisor. Selain itu terdapat pula beberapa Teknik yang digunakan saat menerjemahkan website tersebut yaitu literal translation, pure borrowing, ranspposition, calque, naturalized borrowing, reduction, adaptation, dan Teknik yang paling sering digunakan adalah teknik calque.

English Abstract

The Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Jombang Regency is one of the devices that aims to improve the quality of human resources in the fields of youth, sports, and tourism, so that they can be utilized optimally. In the field of turism, the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Jombang regency has a website that promotes torusim. In Jombang itself several foreign tourists visit the Jombang district area every year. Unfortunately, on the tourism website of the Department of Youth, Sports, and Tourism, there is only information in Indonesian; therefore, there is a need for an English version in order to make it easier for foreign tourists to get information. Several methods are used in translating the Jombang tourism website from Indonesia to English, namely understanding the text and visual content, translating, proofreading and revising, and submitting text to tourism parties. In addition, several techniques are used when translating the website: literal translation, pure borrowing, transposition, calque, naturalized borrowing, reduction, and adaptation. The most frequently used technique is the calque technique.
