Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan hal-hal yang terkait dengan strategi humas social media Instagram @pidpolreskediri sebagai media informasi dan komunikasi pada Masyarakat Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif ini meneliti akun Instagram @pidpolreskediri yang menyediakan informasi mengenai semua aktivitas dan kegiatan instansi pemerintahan Polres Kediri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis beberapa fitur Instagram seperti gambar, video reels, caption, dan hashtag yang digunakan pada unggahan di akun Instagram @pidpolreskediri. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai jenis gambar, caption, dan hashtag yang digunakan serta preferensi pengguna cenderung menyukai gambar yang sederhana dan menunjukkan kesan alamiah dengan keterangan gambar yang deskriptif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu Humas Polres Kediri untuk memaksimalkan media sosial Instagram sebagai media untuk melakukan publikasi dan penyebaran informasi yang aktual kepada Masyarakat Kabupaten Kediri. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi melalui aktivitas di akun Instagram @pidpolreskediri dan aktivitas followers @pidpolreskediri. Hasil analisis factor yang mendorong @pidpolreskediri menggunakan Instagram sebagai media informasi dan komunikasi aktivitas Polres Kediri adalah kelengkapan fitur yang menarik, kemudahan dalam mengunggah informasi dan minat Masyarakat terhadap media sosial Instagram yang tinggi.
English Abstract
This research was conducted to reveal matters related to the public relations strategy of Instagram social media @pidpolreskediri as a medium of information and communication in the Kediri Regency Community. Social media has a considerable impact on information and communication facilities. This descriptive qualitative method research examines the Instagram account @pidpolreskediri which provides information about all activities and activities of the Kediri District Police government agency. The research was conducted by analyzing several Instagram features such as images, video reels, captions, and hashtags used in uploads on the @pidpolreskediri Instagram account. The results of this study show that there are various types of images, captions, and hashtags used and user preferences tend to like simple images and show a natural impression with descriptive image captions. This research is expected to help Kediri District Police Public Relations to maximize Instagram social media as a medium for conducting publications and disseminating actual information to the Kediri District Community. Data collection in this study was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation through activities on the @pidpolreskediri Instagram account and the activities of @pidpolreskediri followers. The results of the analysis of the factors that encourage @pidpolreskediri to use Instagram as a medium for information and communication of Kediri District Police activities are the completeness of interesting features, ease of uploading information and high public interest in Instagram social media.
