Abstract

Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Brawijaya merupakan fakultas unggulan di Indonesia dalam pendidikan dan penelitian kedokteran gigi. Namun masih menggunakan sistem inventarisasi manual dengan mencatat data peralatan menggunakan buku atau Excel yang rawan kesalahan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan sistem inventori berbasis website yang lebih efisien. Sistem ini akan menggunakan model pengembangan waterfall dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan framework Laravel, serta database MySQL. Sistem inventori ini akan memudahkan pencatatan data barang, memantau stok alat secara realtime, mengelola peminjaman alat, dan memberikan laporan inventaris secara berkala. Sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan inventaris peralatan di FKG UB, meminimalisir kesalahan pencatatan, dan mempermudah akses data inventaris melalui platform web. Dengan sistem inventori berbasis website ini, proses pencatatan data barang di FKG UB akan menjadi lebih mudah dan akurat. Pengguna, termasuk staf administrasi dan support IT, dapat melihat, mengelola, dan memantau inventori peralatan secara efisien. Sistem ini juga akan memudahkan peminjaman dan pengembalian peralatan, serta memberikan laporan inventori secara berkala. Dengan penggunaan sistem ini diharapkan pengelolaan inventoris alat di FKG UB menjadi lebih efisien, mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik dalam pengelolaan inventarisasi alat.

English Abstract

The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Brawijaya is a leading faculty in Indonesia in dentistry education and research. However, they still use a manual inventory system by recording equipment data using a book or Excel which is prone to errors. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a more efficient website-based inventory system. This system will use the waterfall development model with the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, and the MySQL database. This inventory system will make it easier to record item data, monitor tool stocks in real-time, manage tool loans, and provide periodic inventory reports. This system can increase the efficiency of equipment inventory management at FKG UB, minimize recording errors, and facilitate access to inventory data through a web platform. With this website-based inventory system, the process of recording goods data at FKG UB will be easier and more accurate. Users, including administrative staff and other users, can view, manage and monitor equipment inventory efficiently. This system will also make it easier to borrow and retur equipment, as well as provide regular inventory reports. With the use of this system, it is hoped that the management of tool inventory at FKG UB will become more efficient, reduce recording errors, and support better decision-making in managing tool inventory.
