Abstract
Pengelolaan persediaan barang alat tulis kantor pada Direktorat Aset Universitas Brawijaya sebelumnya menggunakan manual mengakibatkan kegiatan-kegiatan perkantoran tidak berjalan dengan lancar. Dikarenakan jumlah barang yang dikeluarkan melalui sistem dan fisik tidak sesuai. Akhirnya menimbulkan miskomunikasi antara penyedia barang dengan pengelola persediaan. Dengan adanya Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Persediaan, kegiatan pengelolaan persediaan alat tulis kantor dapat berjalan lebih efisien dan efektif. Penelitiaan ini bertujuaan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Persediaan yang diterapkan di Direktorat Aset Universitas Brawijaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dalam penerapan sistem informasi ini masih terdapat beberapa kendala maka sistem informasi ini belum dapat diterapkan dengan maksimal.
English Abstract
Inventory management of office stationery at the Directorate of Assets of Universitas Brawijaya previously used manuals which resulted in office activities not running smoothly. Because the number of goods issued through the system and physically does not match. Ultimately causing miscommunication between the supplier of goods and the inventory manager. With the Inventory Management Information System Application, office stationery inventory management activities can run more efficiently and effectively. This research aims to find out how the Inventory Management Information System Application is implemented at the Directorate of Assets, Universitas Brawijaya. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. From the research results it is known that in the application of this information system there are still several obstacles so that this information system cannot be implemented optimally
