Abstract

Terapi asertif menjadi pendekatan yang efektif untuk membantu siswa terkait perilaku bullying. Bullying adalah tindakan agresif atau merugikan yang dilakukan secara berulang. Penelitian menggunakan desain Pre Eksperiment dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Semua responden diberikan perlakuan yang sama tanpa ada kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 62 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur sikap asertif siswa menggunakan kuisioner The Rathus Assertiveness Schedule. Sementara untuk mengukur perilaku bullying menggunakan kuisioner Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument. Semua responden diberikan edukasi terkait sikap asertif dan perilaku bullying dan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian terapi asertif berbasis kelompok dengan permainan peran. Uji Statistik menggunakan Paired T-Test untuk sikap asertif menunjukkan perbedaan terapi asertif setelah diberikan intervensi. Hasil uji statistic menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank menunjukkan p Value 0,000. Disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh terapi asertif terhadap perilaku bullying. Hal ini memberikan dasar empiris untuk meningkatkan terapi asertif pada siswa untuk perilaku bullying disekolah. Terapi asertif dapat ditambahkan sebagai mata pelajaran tambahan di bidang pendidikan.

English Abstract

Assertive therapy is an effective approach to help students with bullying behavior. Bullying is an aggressive or detrimental act that is carried out repeatedly. The research used a Pre-Experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. All respondents were given the same treatment without any inclusion and exclusion criteria. The respondents of this research consisted of 62 students. The instrument used to measure students' assertive attitudes uses the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule questionnaire. Meanwhile, to measure behavior -- using the Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument questionnaire. All respondents were given education regarding assertiveness and bullying behavior and continued with group-based assertiveness therapy with role playing. Assertive therapy was given for 6 sessions. Statistical tests using the Paired T-Test for assertiveness show differences in assertive therapy after being given intervention. The results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank show a p value of 0.000. It was concluded that there was an influence of assertive therapy on bullying behavior. This provides an empirical basis for increasing assertive therapy in students to prevent bullying at school. Assertive therapy can be given as an additional subject in the field of education
