Abstract
Festival Kresnayana merupakan event kolaboratif gagasan Disparbudpora Kab. Blitar bersama Disbudpar Jatim yang dikemas dengan konsep pertunjukan sendratari dan melibatkan sastra sejak awal. Festival ini memiliki implementasi hubungan resiprokal antara sastra dan pariwisata. Momentum pariwisata budaya dalam festival Kresnayana yang berangkat dari penerjemahan relief Candi Penataran telah menarik banyak minat wisatawan baik domestic maupun mancanegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi untuk mendeskripsikan peran dan artikulasi sastra dalam Festival Kresnayana sebagai wisata budaya. Melalui metode etnografi, ekspresi sastra diwujudkan dalam eksistensi epos dan cerita pertunjukan yang mengandung nilainilai luhur sosok Kresna. Data diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil kajian mendapati bahwa sastra menginspirasi pengembangan festival Kresnayana serta memberi dampak positif. Kresnayana telah berkembang menjadi ikon yang menguatkan promosi wisata budaya lokal Kab. Blitar. Selain itu, kehadiran sastra yang menjadi daya tarik dalam festival ini membuat pelaku usaha dalam industri pariwisata seperti UMKM, jasa penginapan, dan jasa transportasi lebih berkembang. Sastra mempunyai peran melestarikan nilai budaya lintas masa sekaligus menguatkan promosi wisata lokal sehingga dapat menguatkan identitas masyarakat di tengah maraknya modernisasi.
English Abstract
Kresnayana Festival is a collaborative event of the idea of Disparbudpora Blitar District and Disbudpar East Java that arranged with the concept of ballet performance. The festival has the implementation of reciprocal relations between literature and tourism. The momentum of cultural tourism in the Kresnayana festival which departs from the translation of Penataran temple reliefs has attracted many tourists, both domestic and foreign. This research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods to describe the role and articulation of literature in the Kresnayana Festival as cultural tourism. Through ethnographic methods, literary expression manifested in existence of epics and performance stories that contain the noble values of Krishna. Data were obtained through interview and observation techniques. The results of the study found that literature inspired the development of the Kresnayana festival and had a positive impact. Kresnayana has developed into an icon that strengthens the promotion of local cultural tourism in Blitar District. In addition, the presence of literature that is the attraction in this festival makes business actors in the tourism industry such as UMKM, lodging services, and transportation services developed. Literature has a role in preserving cultural values across time while strengthening the promotion of local tourism in case it could enhance people's identity in the midst of rampant modernization.
