Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh volume susu segar yang berbeda terhadap performa produksi sapi jantan Jersey pada saat pra-sapih. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode experiment menggunakan t-Test: Two-Sample dengan 2 perlakuan dan 15 ulangan. Pedet Jantan Jersey sebanyak 30 ekor pedet yang dipilih berdasarkan umur (1-2 hari) dengan rata-rata bobot awal 29,76 ± 3,29 Kg, pedet di distribusikan ke pada 3 peternak dalam 1 wilayah dan dipelihara selama 60 hari. Perlakuan sebagai berikut : P1 = Susu segar 3 Liter dan P2 = Susu segar 4 Liter. Variabel yang diukur meliputi Pertambahan Bobot Badan Harian (PBBH), Konsumsi Calf Starter (CS), Konsumsi Tumpi, Konsumsi Total Bahan Kering (BK), Konsumsi Total Energi Metabolis (EM), Konsumsi Total Protein Kasar (PK), Konsumsi Total Lemak Kasar (LK) dan Konsumsi Serat Kasar (SK), Konversi Pakan, Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), dan Pengukuran Pertumbuhan Morfometrik Ternak meliputi Lingkar Dada (LD), Panjang Badan (PB), Tinggi Badan (BD) dan Lebar Pinggul (LP).Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan berbeda sangat nyata (P<0.01) PBBH, IOFC, Konsumi CS, Konsumsi Tumpi, Konsumsi Total PK, Konsumsi Total LK, Konsumsi SK, berberbeda nyata (P<0.05) FCR dan LD dan tidak berbeda nyata (P>0.05) terhadap TB, PB, LP Konsumsi Total BK dan Konsumsi Total EM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlakuan P2 menunjukan hasil terbaik terhadap PBBH (0,518 ± 0,07 Kg/hari), Konversi Pakan (1,6 ± 0,23), IOFC Rp 646.739,20 ± 220.885,81) dan Pertumbuhan Morfometrik LD (0,286 ±0,047 cm/Kg Bobot Badan), PB (0,259 ± 0,051 cm/Kg Bobot Badan), TB (0,211 ± 0,040 cm/Kg Bobot Badan) dan LP (0,142 ± 0,024 cm/Kg) Konsumsi Total BK (22,51 ± 2,88 g/ Kg bobot badan/Hari), Konsumsi Total PK (5,02 ± 0,66 g/ Kg bobot badan/Hari) Konsumsi Total EM (0,09 ± 0,01 Mcal/Kg bobot badan/hari) dan Konsumsi Total LK (4,6 ± 0,51 g/Kg bobot badan/Hari) Konsumsi CS (6,10 ± 0,9 g/ Kg bobot badan/Hari) Konsumsi Tumpi (0,42 ± 0,71 g/ Kg bobot badan/Hari) dan Konsumsi Total SK (0,46 ± 0,07 g/ Kg bobot badan/Hari) pada susu segar 4 L lebih rendah dari pada 3 L.
English Abstract
The study aimed to evaluate the effect of different volumes of fresh milk on the production performance of Jersey bulls calves at pre-weaning time. The method used is an experimental method using t-Test: Two-Sample with 2 treatments and 15 repetitions of 30 calves selected based ageed (1-2 days) with an average initial weight of 29.76 ± 3.29 Kg, calves are distributed to 3 breeders in 1 region and maintained for 60 days. The treatment is as follows: P1 = Fresh milk 3 Litter and P2 = Fresh milk 4 Litter. The variables measured include include average daily gain (ADG) Total Calf Starter intake (CSI), Total Tumpi intake, Total Dry Matter intake (DMI), Total Metabolize Energy intake (MEI), Total Crude Protein intake (CPI), Total Crude Fat intake (CFATI) and Total Crude Fiber intake (CF), Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and Livestock Morphometric Growth Measurement including whither height (WH), Body Length (BL), Height (H) and Hip Width (HP). Mortality during the treatmen was 16% caused by 80% diarrhea and 20% phenomonia. The results showed different treatment (P<0.01) ADG, IOFC, CSI, Intake Tumpi, CPI, CFATI, CFI, significantly different (P<0.05) FCR and WH and not significantly different (P>0.05) against H, BL HP, DMI and MEI. The conclusion of this study is that P2 treatment showed the best results against ADG (0,518 ± 0,07 Kg/day), FCR (1,6 ± 0,23), IOFC (Rp 646.739,20 ± 220.885,81) and Morphometric Growth = WH (0.286 ±0.047 m/ Kg Body weight), BL (0.259 ± 0.051 cm / Kg Body weight), H (0.211 ± 0.040 cm / Kg Body weight) and HP (0.142 ± 0.024 cm / Kg Body weight) Total DMI (22,51 ± 2,88 g/Kg Body weight/day), Total CPI (5,02 ± 0,66 g/Kg Body weight/day), Total MEI (0,09 ± 0,01 Mcal/Kg Body weight/day) and Total CFATI (4,6 ± 0,51 g/Kg Body weight/day), CSI (6,10 ± 0,98 Kg/Body weight/day), Tumpi Intake (0,42 ± 0,71 g/Kg Body weight/day) and Total CF (0,46 ± 0,07 Kg/Body weight/ day) in fresh milk 4 L lower than 3 L.
