Abstract

Bendungan Lahor diketahui sebagai wadah pengaliran yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari aktivitas manusia, sehingga kondisi air pada bendungan tersebut mengalami penurunan kualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis kualitas air berdasarkan parameter suhu, pH, kekeruhan, TSS, BOD dan COD di Bendungan Lahor; (2) membandingkan konsentrasi parameter air bendungan; (3) menggambarkan korelasi antar parameter kualitas air dan (4) menentukan status mutu air Bendungan Lahor ditinjau dari indeks pencemaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampling pada tiga titik yang berbeda yaitu di TP 1 pada sekitar pertanian dan pemukiman, TP 2 di sekitar area pariwisata dan TP 3 di keramba ikan, peternakan, pemukiman dan pertanian sesuai dengan standar SNI. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis kualitas air dengan tujuh parameter berupa suhu, kekeruhan, pH, DO, TSS, COD, dan BOD yang dibandingkan dengan baku mutu kualitas air kelas III. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa TP 1 memiliki suhu yang lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan TP2 dan TP3. Suhu dan pH pada TP 1 lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan TP2 dan TP3. Kekeruhan TP1 lebih tinggi signifikan dibandingkan TP 2 dan TP 3. Sedangkan konsentrasi DO, TSS dan COD relatif sama pada ketiga titik. BOD pada TP 2 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan TP 1 dan TP 3. Korelasi antar parameter menunjukkan sangat kuat positif untuk (suhu vs pH) dan (Suhu vs BOD), serta sangat kuat negatif (suhu vs kekeruhan) dan (kekeruhan vs pH). Nilai korelasi kuat positif pada (Kekeruhan vs DO) dan (pH vs BOD), sedangkan kuat negatif (TSS vs DO), (pH vs DO), (DO vs COD), dan (Kekeruhan vs BOD). Status mutu air Bendungan Lahor ditinjau dari indeks pencemaran (IP) menunjukkan hasil tercemar ringan di semua titik yang diamati.

English Abstract

Lahor Dam is known as a drainage container that cannot be separated from human activities, so that the water condition in the dam has decreased in quality. The objectives of this study were (1) to analyze water quality based on temperature, pH, turbidity, TSS, BOD and COD parameters in Lahor Dam; (2) to compare the concentration of dam water parameters; (3) to describe the correlation between water quality parameters and (4) to determine the water quality status of Lahor Dam in terms of pollution index. This study was conducted by sampling at three different points, namely at TP 1 around agriculture and settlements, TP 2 around the tourism area and TP 3 in fish cages, livestock, settlements and agriculture in accordance with SNI standards. Furthermore, water quality analysis was carried out with seven parameters such as temperature, turbidity, pH, DO, TSS, COD, and BOD which were compared with class III water quality standards. The results showed that TP 1 had a lower temperature compared to TP2 and TP3. The temperature and pH concentrations in TP 1 were lower when compared to TP2 and TP3. Turbidity at TP1 was significantly higher than TP2 and TP3, while DO, TSS and COD concentrations were relatively the same at all three points. The correlation between parameters showed very strong positive for (temperature vs pH) and (Temperature vs BOD), and very strong negative for (temperature vs turbidity) and (turbidity vs pH). Strong positive correlation values for (Turbidity vs DO) and (pH vs BOD), while strong negative (TSS vs DO), (pH vs DO), (DO vs COD), and (Turbidity vs BOD). The water quality status of Lahor Dam in terms of pollution index (IP) showed mildly polluted results at all observed points.
