Abstract

Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) adalah salah satu kanker yang berkembang dari sel pembentuk darah dalam sumsum tulang di sebut juga dengan leukemia. Pada pasien CML dengan lekosit yang tinggi menyebabkan berbagai gejala, misal nya sesak dan pasien segera dilakukan tindakan leukapheresis untuk menurunkan jumlah lekositnya. Dari interview 10 pasien CML yang menjalani tindakan leukopharesis, mengatakan tingkat kecemasan pasien tinggi, pengaruh Pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan leaflet sebelum menjalani tindakan leukapheresis sangat penting. Tujuan : yaitu bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan kesehatan dengan media leaflet terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan pasien. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pra-eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan pra pascatest dalam suatu kelompok (One-group pra-post test design). Sampel yang diguanakan dalam penelitian ini sebesar 10 responden. Hasil : P value diperoleh sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, Diskusi : Didapatkan hasil pengaruh edukasi dengan metode leaflet dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pasien, maka dari itu diperoleh kesimpulan : bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor yang signifikan antara tingkat kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pemberian perlakuan berupa pendidikan kesehatan melalui leaflet berpengaruh untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan responden secara signifikan.

English Abstract

Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) is a cancer that develops from blood-forming cells in the bone marrow, also called leukemia.. In CML patients with high leukocytes it causes various symptoms, for example shortness of breath and the patient immediately undergoes leukapheresis to reduce the number of leukocytes. From interviews with 10 CML patients who underwent leukopharysis, they said the patient's anxiety level was high, the influence of health education using leaflets before undergoing leukapheresis was very important. Objective: The aim is to determine the effect of health education using leaflet media on reducing patient anxiety levels. Method: The type of research used in this research isPra-experimental by using a pre-post test design in a group (One-group pre-post test design). The sample used in this research was 10 respondents. Results: The P value obtained was 0.000 < 0.05. Discussion: The results showed that the effect of education using the leaflet method could reduce the patient's anxiety level, therefore the conclusion was obtained: that there was a significant difference in the average score between the anxiety level before and after treatment. This proves that providing treatment in the form of health education through leaflets has an effect on reducing respondents' anxiety levels significantly.
