Abstract
Kanker payudara merupakan kondisi sel jaringan payudara yang kehilangan kemampuan normal dan mekanisme kontrolnya sehingga menyebabkan pertumbuhan sel yang abnormal, cepat, dan tidak terkendali. Salah satu metode terapi kanker payudara adalah kemoterapi yang memiliki banyak efek samping seperti mual dan kelelahan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan agen terapi lain yang memiliki efek samping rendah. Agaricus bisporus adalah bahan alami yang diketahui memiliki beberapa manfaat medis. Lektin merupakan salah satu kandungan dalam Agaricus bisporus yang memiliki manfaat sebagai antikanker. Penelitian literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek lektin pada Agaricus bisporus sebagai terapi adjuvant pada kanker payudara. Pencarian literatur menggunakan database Google Scholar, Pubmed, Sciencedirect, dan Proquest. Pemilihan artikel jurnal menggunakan metode PRISMA. Hasil penelusuran artikel jurnal membuktikan bahwa bahan aktif dalam Agaricus bisporus memiliki potensi sebagai antikanker payudara dan lektin pada Agaricus bisporus memiliki potensi dalam meningkatkan apoptosis sel kanker payudara.
English Abstract
Breast cancer is a condition where breast tissue cells lose their normal abilities and control mechanisms, causing abnormal, rapid and uncontrolled cell growth. One of the treatments for breast cancer is chemotherapy which has many side effects such as nausea and fatigue. Therefore, other treatment drugs that have low side effects is needed. Agaricus bisporus is a natural ingredient known for its many medical benefits. Lectin is one of the contents of Agaricus bisporus which has anti-cancer effects. This literature review research aims to determine the effect of lectins on Agaricus bisporus as an adjuvant therapy for breast cancer. Literature search using Google Scholar, Pubmed, Sciencedirect and Proquest databases. Selection of journal articles using the PRISMA method. The results of scientific articles show that the active ingredient from Agaricus bisporus has anti-breast cancer potential and the lectin from Agaricus bisporus has the ability to increase apoptosis of breast cancer cells.
