Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemilihan lokasi ATM Mandiri yang paling potensial untuk dilakukan pengembangan di daerah sekitaran Universitas Brawijaya. Tujuan dari pengembangan salah satu ATM terbaik ini adalah untuk memperoleh keuntungan maksimum bagi pihak bank terkait dan penempatan lokasi yang merata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode MPE dan Teorema Bayes. Metode perbandingan eksponensial (MPE) digunakan untuk mencari peluang prior sebagai informasi awal dengan tiga kriteria yaitu kinerja mesin ATM, akses menuju lokasi, dan kondisi keramaian di sekitar lokasi. Sementara itu, pada penerapan Teorema Bayes peluang prior akan diperbaharui menjadi peluang posterior dengan data jumlah nasabah sebagai informasi tambahan. Perhitungan pada peluang posterior dilakukan secara iteratif sampai mendekati satu, proses perhitungan dengan bantuan software Matlab menghasilkan iterasi sebanyak sembilan belas kali, kemudian dihitung nilai harapan dari masing-masing lokasi ATM. Hasil perhitungan dengan Teorema Bayes menunjukkan bahwa ATM Mall Dinoyo memiliki nilai harapan maksimum sebanyak 48 nasabah, artinya ATM Mall Dinoyo adalah lokasi ATM yang sebaiknya diprioritaskan untuk dilakukan pengembangan.

English Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategy for selecting Mandiri ATM locations with the most potential for development in the area around Brawijaya University. The aim of developing one of the best ATMs is to obtain maximum profits for the relevant banks and evenly distribute locations. The methods used in this research are the MPE method and Bayes' Theorem. The exponential comparison method (MPE) is used to find prior opportunities as initial information using three criteria, namely ATM machine performance, access to the location, and crowd conditions around the location. Furthermore, in applying Bayes' Theorem, the prior probability will be updated into a posterior probability with data on the number of customers as additional information. The calculation of the posterior probability is carried out iteratively until it approaches one, the calculation process with the help of Matlab software produces nineteen iterations, then the expected value of each ATM location is calculated. The results of calculations using the MPE method and Bayes' Theorem show that the Dinoyo Mall ATM has a maximum expected value of 48 customers, meaning that the Dinoyo Mall ATM is an ATM location that should be prioritized for development.
