Abstract
Teori titik tetap berawal dari pembuktian solusi untuk jenis persamaan diferensial tertentu, salah satu contohnya adalah teorema titik tetap Banach. Dalam skripsi ini dikaji teorema titik tetap pada perluasan prinsip kontraksi Banach. Dalam pembuktian teorema titik tetap pada perluasan kontraksi Banach, diperlukan perluasan ruang metrik dan kontraksi Banach. Diperoleh bahwa jika T adalah suatu pemetaan pada ruang metrik lengkap, (X, d) membentuk perluasan kontraksi Banach, maka T memiliki titik tetap tunggal di X.
English Abstract
The fixed point theory derived from the proof of solutions to certain types of differential equations, one of the fixed point theorems is Banach’s fixed point theorem. Furthermore, this thesis studied fixed point theorems on the extension of Banach contraction principle. In proving fixed point theorem on the extension of Banach contraction principle, generalized metric space and Banach contraction are needed. The result is if T is a mapping on the complete metric space, (X, d) forms an extension of Banach contraction principle, then T has a unique fixed point.
