Abstract

Dalam pengolahan komoditas tembakau terutama pada tahap perajangan telah banyak mesin perajang yang dikembangkan untuk menunjang produktivitas kerja dari proses pengolahan tersebut. Dalam setiap pengembangan teknologi perajangan tersebut perlu dilakukan uji ergonomi alat atau mesin untuk mengetahui kenyamanan operator saat mengoperasikan alat/ mesin perajang sehingga dapat menunjang efisiensi dan efektivitas produksi. tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis ergonomi dan analisis keselamatan kerja pada operasional mesin perajang tembakau semi mekanis system kayuh berdasarkan beban kerja fisik (% CVL dan konsumsi oksigen) dan antropometri operator. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengukuran antropometri dan pengukuran detak jantung / denyut nadi operator mesin perajang tembakau tipe kayuh. Data detak jantunng digunakan untuk mengetahui beban kerja fisik operator melaui perhitungan %CVL dan konsumsi oksigen. Hasil penelitian menunjukka bahwa antropometri jarak antara punggung kursi ke bagian atas penutup alat (pegangan tangan operator) dan desain punggung kursi kurang ergonomis karena memiliki ukuran diluar rentang persentil dimensi tubuh yang sesuai. Sedangkan posisi kursi dan pedal telah ergonomis karena memiliki ukuran yang berada dalam rentang persentil dimsi tubuh panjang kaki dan panjang lutut ke tumit. Berdasarkan nilai %CVL (cardiovascular load), menunjukan semua operator diklasifikasikan “Tidak terjadi kelalahan” . Sedangkan perhitungan beban kerja fisik operator berdasarkan konsumsi oksigen (VO2),menunjukan bahwa 7 operator diklasifikasikan sebagai “Medium work”, 2 operator diklasifikasikan sebagai “Heavy work”, sedangkan 1 operator diklasifikasikan sebagai “Light work”.

English Abstract

In the processing of tobacco commodities, especially at the chopping stage, many chopper machines have been developed to support the work productivity of the processing process. In every development of chopping technology, it is necessary to test the ergonomics of the tool or machine to determine the operator's comfort when operating the chopper tool / machine so that it can support production efficiency and effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze ergonomics and work safety analysis in semi-mechanical tobacco chopper machine operations based on physical workload (% CVL and oxygen consumption) and operator anthropometry. This research was conducted using anthropometric measurements and measuring the heart rate / pulse of the paddle-type tobacco chopper machine operator. Heart rate data is used to determine the physical workload of the operator by calculating% CVL and oxygen consumption. The results showed that the anthropometric distance between the back of the chair to the top of the appliance cover (operator's handrail) and the design of the back of the chair was less ergonomic because it had a size outside the percentile range of the appropriate body dimensions. Meanwhile, the position of the chair and the pedals are ergonomic because they have measurements that are in the percentile range of the body's dimension, leg length and knee-to-heel length. Based on the value of% CVL (cardiovascular load), it shows that all operators are classified as "No error occurred". Meanwhile, the calculation of the operator's physical workload based on oxygen consumption (VO2) shows that 7 operators are classified as "Medium work", 2 operators are classified as "Heavy work", while 1 operator is classified as "Light work".
