Abstract

Kinerja guru dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang salah satunya adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta Timur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta Timur, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan merupakan penelitian survei yang bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru yang mengajar di SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta Timur. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 37 guru dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling, dimana seluruh anggota memiliki peluang yang sama untuk menjadi sampel. Data yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner langsung kepada guru-guru. Instrumen penelitian akan diuji terlebih dahulu dengan uji validitas dan reabilitas, kemudian untuk memenuhi syarat uji maka akan dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Setelah ini akan dilakukan uji regresi linear sederhana serta pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t, uji f, dan koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa adanya pengaruh antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil penelitian Uji Parsial (t) nilai thitung untuk variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah adalah lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (3,465 > ttabel ; Dimana ttabel = 1,689.) dan nilai Sig.t variabel adalah sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil dari α (0,001 < 0,05), dan nilai Koefisien Determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,255 untuk kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Angka tersebut yang menjelaskan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta Timur berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 25,5% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 74,5% merupakan kontribusi dari variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

English Abstract

Teacher performance can be influenced by various factors, one of which is the principal's leadership. This thesis discusses the effect of principal leadership on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 89 East Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the principal's leadership and teacher performance at SMA Negeri 89 East Jakarta and to determine the effect of principal leadership on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 89 East Jakarta. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods and is a descriptive survey. The population in this study are teachers who teach at SMA Negeri 89 East Jakarta. The sample used in this study was 37 teachers with probability sampling, where all members have the same opportunity to be sampled. The data contained in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to teachers. The research instrument will be tested first using validity and reliability tests, and then to fulfill the test requirements, a classic assumption test will be carried out, which consists of a normality test and a linearity test. Afterwards, a simple linear regression test and hypothesis testing will be carried out using the t test, f test, and coefficient of determination using the SPSS 26 application. The results of this study indicate that it is true that the principal's leadership influences teacher performance. This has been proven through the results of the partial test (t) research. The tcount value for the principal leadership variable is greater than the ttable value (3.465 > ttable; where ttable = 1.689), the variable Sig.t value is 0.001 less than (0.001 <0.05), and the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.255 for the school principal's leadership. Those numbers explain that the leadership of the principal at SMA Negeri 89 East Jakarta influences teacher performance by 25.5%, while the remaining 74.5% is contributed by other variables not discussed in this study.
