English Abstract

Gender mainstreaming is a strategy to achieve gender equality. Gender mainstreaming in Indonesia itself can be seen in the policy of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, namely Gender Responsive Villages. One of the villages that is a pilot for this project is Sitiarjo village in Malang district. On this occasion, the researcher wanted to see what factors influence the gender responsive village in Sitiarjo by using the twin track gender mainstreaming strategy model from Moser which focuses on the importance of the government's role in the process of involving women in policy making and providing equal opportunities for men and women. The author uses quantitative methods to see what factors from the Moser model influence the implementation of gender mainstreaming in Sitiarjo village in this gender responsive village program. In this research the author found that there is one factor that influences gender mainstreaming in the gender responsive village in Sitiarjo village, namely the government responsibility factor.
