Abstract
Hiperemesis gravidarum adalah keadaan mual muntah berlebihan pada wanita hamil yang dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan berat badan, kekurangan cairan, kekurangan nutrisi, dan membuat badan menjadi lemas. Penanganan hyperemesis dapat dilakukan dengan cara farmakologis dan non-farmakologis. Pengobatan non-farmakologis dapat dilakukan tanpa penggunaan obat, salah satunya adalah dengan penggunaan aromaterapi cajuput oil. Karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan pemberian aroma terapi cajuput oil pada Ny. MI dengan Hiperemesis gravidarum di Puskesmas Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang. Klien yang dikelola adalah Ny. MI dengan usia 30 tahun, status obstetric G3P2A0, usia kehamilan 12-13minggu. Klien dating dengan keluhan mual dan muntah setiap kali makan sejak 3 hari yang lalu, dan memnajdi tidak nafsu makan. Pemeriksaan awal masuk ditemukan TD 90/60 mmHg, ND 80 x/menit teraba lemah, SB 36,8oC, RR 20 x/menit. Klien tampak lemas, tampak bibir kering, mata sedikit cowong. Keadaan janin teraba funsud uterus 2 jari diatas simpisis, DJJ 150x/menit, LILA 25cm. Masalah keperawatan utama yang muncul adalah nausea dan hipovolemia, yang selanjutnya diberikan tindakan keperawatan berupa rehidrasi cairan IV, pemberian vitamin zat besi, pemberian obat antiemetik, pemberian makanan yang sesuai, pemberian aromaterapi cajuput oil. Setelah dilakukan tindakan keperawatan, keluhan klien berkurang, terutama setelah diberikan aromaterapi klien mengatakan mual berangsur hilang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian aromaterapi cajuput oil dapat mengurangi nausea pada hyperemesis gravidarum. Namun peneliti belum mengetahui apakah aromaterapi ini efektif jika tidak dibarengi dengan pemberian obat antiemetik.
English Abstract
Hyperemesis gravidarum is a state of excessive nausea and vomiting in pregnant women which can result in weight loss, lack of fluids, nutritional deficiencies, and make the body weak. Hyperemesis can be treated by pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. Non-pharmacological treatment can be done without the use of drugs, one of which is the use of cajuput oil aromatherapy. This scientific work aims to apply the aromatherapy of cajuput oil to Mrs. MI with Hyperemesis gravidarum at the Tumpang Health Center, Malang Regency. The client managed is Mrs. MI with age 30 years old, obstetric status G3P2A0, gestational age 12-13 weeks. The client comes with complaints of nausea and vomiting every time she eats since 3 days ago, and she has no appetite. An initial examination found blood pressure 90/60 mmHg, weak pulse 80 x/minute, body temperature 36.8oC, RR 20 x/minute. The client looks limp, with dry lips, and eyes are a little hollow. Fetal condition palpable uterine fundus 2 fingers above symphysis, FHR 150x/minute, LILA 25cm. The main nursing problems that arise are nausea and hypovolemia, which are then given nursing actions in the form of IV fluid rehydration, administration of iron vitamins, administration of antiemetic drugs, giving appropriate food, giving cajuput oil aromatherapy. After nursing actions, the client's complaints decreased, especially after being given aromatherapy the client said the nausea was gradually disappearing. It can be concluded that giving cajuput oil aromatherapy can reduce nausea in hyperemesis gravidarum. However, researchers do not yet know whether aromatherapy is effective if it is not accompanied by the administration of antiemetic drugs.
