Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara agraris dengan lahan pertanian yang luas dan sumber daya alam yang berlimpah. Pertanian memegang peranan penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pokok dan sektor pertanian merupakan sektor primer yang penting bagi perekonomian nasional. Beras adalah hasil pertanian utama dan makanan pokok di Indonesia. Petani perorangan biasa menjual hasil produksi padi kepada tengkulak atau menyimpannya dalam bentuk padi untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga. Alasan penyimpanan dalam bentuk padi antara lain karena harga beras yang lebih mahal di pasaran dan kualitas beras yang lebih terjaga. Karena kebiasaan tersebut, jasa RMU keliling (Rumah Makan Umum) memang dibutuhkan dan memiliki pelanggan tetap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan harga jasa RMU keliling yang tepat agar usaha tersebut berkelanjutan dan mampu membeli alat RMU baru. Sehingga pengamatan fisik secara ekonomi diperlukan dan dengan dilakukannya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan infromasi kepada pelaku usaha RMU keliling seta pihak produsen, petani dan pihak pemerintah dalam pengembangan usaha RMU keliling. Dalam penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis ekonomi perlu diketahui biaya tetap dan biaya tidak tetap. Dalam biaya tetap terdapat biaya penyusutan, bunga modal dan pajak. Lalu pada biaya tidak tetap terdapat biaya kebutuhan bahan bakar, biaya operator, biaya lain lain dan biaya pemeliharaan mesin. Setelah semua biaya tersebut diketahui lalu dapat dilakukan perhitungan untuk mencari Break Even Point atau titik impas. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan didapatkan total biaya tetap sebesar Rp 536.000 per bulan dan biaya tidak tetap sebesar Rp 5.383.200 per bulan. Dan harga pokok sebesar Rp 39.000 per jam. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan didapatkan Break Even Point atau titik impas usaha sebesar 42 jam kerja. Dengan jumlah jam kerja 8 jam per harinya, dan 6 hari dalam seminggu. Didapatkan usaha tersebut melakukan 208 jam kerja dalam sebulan. Sehingga didapatkan keuntungan sebesar Rp 3.000.000 per bulan atau Rp180.000.000 dan dengan menerapkan konsep ekonomi berkelanjutan dengan asumsi umur ekonomis alat RMU keliling selama 5 tahun. Maka pelaku usaha dapat memperbesar usaha dengan membeli alat RMU keliling baru dan memperbesar skala usahanya.
English Abstract
Indonesia is an agrarian country with vast agricultural land and abundant natural resources. Agriculture plays a crucial role in meeting basic needs, and the agricultural sector is vital for the national economy. Rice is the primary agricultural product and a staple food in Indonesia. Individual farmers usually sell their rice production to middlemen or store it in the form of unhusked rice for household consumption. Reasons for storing rice include the higher market price of rice and the preservation of its quality. Due to this practice, mobile Rice Milling Unit are in demand and have loyal customers. This research aims to determine the appropriate pricing for Mobile Rice Milling Unit services to ensure the sustainability of the business and enable the purchase of new Rice Milling Unit equipment. Therefore, an economic physical observation is necessary, and this research is expected to provide information to Mobile Rice Milling Unit operators, producers, farmers, and the government for the development of mobile Rice Milling Unit. To conduct an economic analysis in this research, fixed costs and variable costs need to be identified. Fixed costs include depreciation, interest on capital, and taxes, while variable costs include fuel costs, operator fees, miscellaneous expenses, and machine maintenance costs. Once all these costs are known, calculations can be performed to determine the Break Even Point. After calculations, the total fixed costs are found to be Rp 536,000 per month, and the variable costs are Rp 5,383,200 per month. The cost price is Rp 39,000 per hour. The Break Even Point for the business is determined to be 42 working hours. With 8 working hours per day and 6 days per week, the business operates for 208 hours per month. As a result, the profit is estimated to be Rp 3,000,000 per month or Rp 180,000,000 in total. By implementing the concept of sustainable economics with an assumed economic life of the mobile Rice Milling Unit equipment for 5 years, business operators can expand their business by purchasing new mobile Rice Milling Unit equipment and scaling up their operations.
