Abstract

Sumber penerimaan negara diperoleh dari penghasilan pajak dan penghasilan bukan pajak seperti sumber daya alam. Indonesia merupakan negara maritim yang memiliki kekayaan laut melimpah dan banyak perusahaan manufaktur sektor perikanan khususnya di wilayah pesisir pantai utara, salah satunya pada PT Starfood International Kabupaten Lamongan. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti di lapangan, terdapat masalah yang ditemui pada PT Starfood International Kabupaten Lamongan yaitu: kinerja karyawan pada periode 2022 mengalami fluktuasi (naik turun) dalam mencapai target. Kondisi seperti ini menyebabkan kinerja karyawan mengalami penurunan dan berdampak pada keberlangsungan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi profesional dan kompensasi finansial terhadap kinerja karyawan tetap PT Starfood International dengan kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner langsung kepada sampel 70 karyawan tetap secara konvensional, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling total. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompensasi finansial tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompetensi profesional tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, motivasi kerja tidak berhasil dalam memediasi kompetensi profesional dan kompensasi finansial terhadap kinerja karyawan.

English Abstract

Sources of state revenue are obtained from tax revenues and non-tax revenues such as natural resources. Indonesia is a maritime country that has abundant marine resources and many manufacturing companies in the fisheries sector, especially in the northerm coastal region, one of which is PT Starfood International Lamongan Regency. Based on observations by researchers in the field, there were problems encountered at PT Starfood International Lamongan Regency, namely: employee performance in the 2022 period experienced fluctuations (up and down) in achieving targets. Conditions like this course couse employee performance to decline and have an impact on the sustainability of the company. Therefore, this research aims to find out how professional competence and financial compensation influence the performance of permanent employees of PT Starfood International with work ability and work motivation as mediating variables. This research was conducted bye distributing questionnaires directly to a sample of 70 conventional permanent employees, using total sampling techniques. The data analysis technique uses SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4 software. The of the research show that professional competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, financial compensation have no positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has no positive and significant effect on employee, performance professional competence has no positive and significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has no successful in mediating professional competence and financial compensation on employee performance.
