Abstract

Koperasi sebagai lembaga penguat sistem perekonomian dibentuk untuk mendukung aktivitas ekonomi melalui penyediaan layanan utamanya bagi anggota koperasi. Keberadaan koperasi di Indonesia masih belum sepenuhnya berjalan maksimal dalam mendorong perekonomian karena ketatnya persaingan antara koperasi dengan badan usaha lain. Kontribusi koperasi terhadap PDB nasional tergolong rendah hanya sebesar 5,2%. Berdasarkan data BPS (2021), akumulasi jumlah koperasi aktif di Indonesia mengalami penurunan akibat gagal dalam mencapai keberhasilan. Permasalahan mengenai kualitas pelayanan dan kurangnya partisipasi anggota akan berdampak pada menurunnya kinerja koperasi. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan agar koperasi dapat memberikan pelayanan sesuai dengan keinginan anggota guna mendorong tingkat partisipasi sehingga keberhasilan koperasi dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap partisipasi anggota Koperasi Pameling Makmur Mandiri, (2) Menganalisis pengaruh partisipasi anggota terhadap keberhasilan Koperasi Pameling Makmur Mandiri, (3) Menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap keberhasilan Koperasi Pameling Makmur Mandiri, (4) Menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap keberhasilan Koperasi Pameling Makmur Mandiri melalui partisipasi anggota sebagai variabel intervening. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi anggota. Kualitas pelayanan koperasi yang sesuai harapan anggota melalui pemberian layanan secara sigap serta didukung dengan kemampuan dan keahlian karyawan dapat menarik simpati anggota untuk berpartisipasi dalam memanfaatkan layanan di koperasi. Partisipasi anggota memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan koperasi. Tingkat partisipasi anggota dalam memanfaatkan layanan dengan membeli sarana produksi di koperasi dapat mendorong tercapainya keberhasilan koperasi karena keberadaan koperasi berkontribusi dalam pengembangan potensi desa melalui penyediaan layanan. Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan koperasi melalui partisipasi anggota. Koperasi merupakan badan usaha yang dikendalikan secara demokratis sehingga pelaksanaan kegiatan guna mewujudkan keberhasilan koperasi memerlukan keterlibatan dari anggota. Koperasi Pameling Makmur Mandiri perlu meningkatkan partisipasi anggota dengan cara mengadakan event menarik seperti bazar sarana produksi. Pengembangan jenis layanan berupa penyediaan modal dan layanan kredit bagi anggota perlu dilakukan untuk membantu petani dalam mengembangkan kegiatan usaha tani alpukat pameling.

English Abstract

Cooperatives as economic institutions provide services to support economic activities, especially for cooperative members. The existence of cooperatives in Indonesia is still not fully optimized to support the nation's economy because of intense competition between cooperatives and other business entities. The contribution of cooperatives to national GDP is low only 5,2%. Based on BPS data (2021), the accumulated number of active cooperatives in Indonesia has decreased because of the failure to achieve success. Participation from members is needed to support the achievement of success. This research is important to determine the effect of service quality and member participation on the success of cooperatives so that cooperatives can provide services as expected members to increase participation and cooperative success can be achieved. Problems regarding service quality and lack of member participation will impact decreasing cooperative performance. This research aims to: (1) Analyze the effect of service quality on the participation of members of the Pameling Makmur Mandiri Cooperative, (2) Analyze the effect of member participation on the success of the Pameling Makmur Mandiri Cooperative, (3) Analyze the effect of service quality on the success of the Pameling Makmur Mandiri Cooperative, (4) Analyze the effect of service quality on the success of the Pameling Makmur Mandiri Cooperative through member participation as an intervening variable. The sampling method uses simple random sampling. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and path analysis. Based on the results of the research, explain that service quality has a significant effect on member participation. The quality of cooperative services that is consistent based on the expectations of members through service delivery with the abilities and expertise of employees can attract the sympathy of members to participate in utilizing services in cooperatives. Member participation has a significant effect on the success of cooperatives. Cooperative members purchasing production facilities in cooperatives encourage the success of cooperatives because the existence of cooperatives can contribute to helping develop village potential through service provision. Service quality has a significant effect on the success of cooperative through member participation. Cooperatives are business entities that are democratically controlled so the implementation of activities to realize the success of cooperatives requires the involvement of members. The Pameling Makmur Mandiri Cooperative needs to increase member participation by holding interesting events such as a production facilities bazaar. The development of types of services in the form of providing capital and credit services for members needs to be carried out to help farmers develop pameling avocado farming activities.
