Abstract

Penggunaan pupuk anorganik yang berlebih dapat menyebabkan kerugian bagi tanah seperti berkurangnya tingkat kesuburan tanah dan berkurangnya kualitas panen tanaman. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan pupuk organik cair dengan memanfaatkan bahan yang tidak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan memanfaatkan ampas kopi dengan penambahan MSG dan air cucian beras, menganalisis pupuk organik cair yang dapat diaplikasikan dan telah memenuhi standar mutu pupuk organik cair berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia 261/2019, dan mendapatkan dosis ampas kopi yang memenuhi standar mutu pupuk organik cair. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) lima taraf dengan tiga kali pengulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pemberian dosis ampas kopi dalam pembuatan pupuk organik cair yaitu dengan taraf D1 (40 gram ampas kopi), D2 (80 gram ampas kopi), D3 (120 gram ampas kopi), D4 (160 gram ampas kopi), dan kontrol (tanpa ampas kopi). Parameter yang diamati terdiri dari indikator kematangan seperti (pH, suhu, warna, dan bau) dan kandungan unsur hara seperti (C, N, P, dan K). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) satu arah dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh rata-rata pH berkisar 6,23-7,6 dan suhu berkisar 27,87oC-28,3oC. Kandungan C-organik tertinggi pada perlakuan D3, kandungan nitrogen tertinggi pada perlakuan D3, kandungan fosfor tertinggi pada perlakuan D2, kandungan kalium tertinggi pada perlakuan D2, dan C/N rasio tertinggi pada perlakuan D1. Kemudian diperoleh perlakuan terbaik berdasarkan semua parameter pada perlakuan D1. Parameter kandungan unsur hara yang tidak memenuhi standar kualitias pupuk organik cair berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia 261/2019 yaitu kandungan fosfor, kandungan kalium, dan C/N rasio.

English Abstract

Excessive use of inorganic fertilizers can cause losses to the soil such as reduced soil fertility and reduced crop quality. These problems can be overcome by using liquid organic fertilizer by utilizing materials that are not used by the community. This study aims to utilize coffee grounds with the addition of MSG and rice washing water, analyze liquid organic fertilizers that can be applied and meet quality standards for liquid organic fertilizers based on Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia 261/2019, and obtain coffee grounds dosages that meet organic fertilizer quality standards liquid. This study used a five-level Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three repetitions. The treatment used in this study was the dosing of coffee grounds in the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer with levels D1 (40 grams of coffee grounds), D2 (80 grams of coffee grounds), D3 (120 grams of coffee grounds), D4 (160 grams of coffee grounds), and control (without coffee grounds). Parameters observed consisted of maturity indicators such as (pH, temperature, color, and odor) and nutrient content such as (C, N, P, and K). The research data were analyzed using one way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) with a significance level of 5%. Based on the research, it was found that the average pH ranged from 6.23-7.6 and the temperature ranged from 27.87oC-28.3oC. The highest Corganic content was in treatment D3, the highest nitrogen content was in treatment D3, the highest phosphorus content was in treatment D2, the highest potassium content was in treatment D2, and the highest C/N ratio was in treatment D1. Then the best treatment was obtained based on all parameters in treatment D1. Parameters for nutrient content that do not meet the quality standards of liquid organic fertilizer based on the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia 261/2019 are phosphorus content, potassium content, and C/N ratio.
