Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran regulasi emosi terhadap self disclosure pada suami istri yang menggunakan jejaring sosial facebook. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 218 orang yang menggunakan facebook dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Uji analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat ditarik kesimpulan terdapat peran negatif dan signifikan regulasi emosi terhadap self disclosure pada suami istri yang menggunakan facebook dengan nilai R square 0,088. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa variabel regulasi emosi memiliki kontribusi sebesar 8,8% terhadap variabel self disclosure dan 91,2% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain diluar variabel regulasi emosi yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti
English Abstract
This research aimed to find out the role of emotion regulation toward self disclosure on married couples who use facebook social media. The research subjects in this study were 218 people who use facebook and they were chosen by using purposive sampling method. The data analysis test was done by using simple linear regression technique of SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Based on the data analysis results, it was concluded that there was negative and significant role of emotion regulation of self disclosure on couples who use facebook with the R square value of 0.088. It showed that the variable of emotion regulation had contributed 8.8% to the self disclosure variable and the other 91.2% had been influenced by other factors outside the emotional regulatory variables which were not studied by the researcher.
