Abstract

Tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan tanaman pangan yang menjadi bahan makanan pokok mayoritas penduduk Indonesia. Adanya pertambahan jumlah penduduk mengakibatkan kebutuhan pangan menjadi meningkat. Badan Pusat Statistik (2022) menunjukkan bahwa produksi beras pada tahun 2022 untuk konsumsi pangan diperkirakan sekitar 32,07 juta ton yang mengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2021 yaitu sebesar 31,36 juta ton. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk secara cepat tidak diikuti dengan produksi beras yang cenderung melambat. Semakin menurun produksi padi dapat disebabkan oleh pemilihan varietas serta penerapan teknologi budidaya yang kurang tepat. Varietas Inpari 42 salah satu varietas baru padi yang mampu memiliki daya hasil yang tinggi serta toleran terhadap hama dan penyakit. Penerapan program intensifikasi memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan dengan penambahan bahan yang berbasis organik. Pupuk hayati merupakan salah satu jenis pupuk organik yang mengandung berbagai macam mikroba yang menguntungkan bagi tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk anorganik dan pupuk hayati cair mixhara terhadap tanaman padi sawah varietas Inpari 42. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini ialah pemberian pupuk hayati cair mixhara dapat mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik serta mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi sawah varietas Inpari 42. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari - April 2023 di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya yang terletak di Desa Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan 9 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan sehingga terdapat 27 petak perlakuan. Tiap petak percobaan berukuran 6,4 x 3,1 m. Parameter pengamatan yang diamati meliputi pertumbuhan dan hasil. Pengamatan komponen pertumbuhan yang diamati antara lain panjang tanaman, jumlah anakan, jumlah daun, dan luas daun. Pengamatan komponen hasil antara lain umur berbunga, jumlah anakan produktif, bobot kering tanaman total, bobot 1000 butir, dan bobot kering gabah per petak. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan analisis ragam (uji F) pada taraf 5%. Apabila hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan hasil berpengaruh nyata, maka akan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penununan dosis NPK hingga 50% diikuti dengan penambahan pupuk hayati cair mixhara hingga 150% mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi. Perlakuan kombinasi pupuk anorganik dan pupuk hayati cair mixhara mampu memberikan hasil produksi sebesar 5.411 kg ha- 1 GKP lebih banyak 45,05% dan 3,07% daripada perlakuan pupuk hayati cair mixhara dan pupuk anorganik secara tunggal. Usahatani padi varietas inpari 42 dengan penggunaan pupuk hayati cair mixhara secara tunggal mempunyai efisiensi R/C ratio sebesar 2,44. Pada penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara tunggal mempunyai efisiensi R/C ratio sebesar 2,35, sedangkan pada kombinasi pemupukan dengan NPK 75% + pupuk hayati cair mixhara 150% mempunyai efisiensi R/C ratio sebesar 2,17. Ketiga perbandingan usahatani layak untuk diusahakan.

English Abstract

Rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) are food crops that are the staple food of the majority of the Indonesian population. The increase in population has resulted in increased food needs. The Central Statistics Agency (2022) shows that rice production in 2022 for food consumption is estimated to be around 32.07 million tons, an increase from 2021, which was 31.36 million tons. The rapid increase in population is not followed by rice production which tends to slow. The decline in rice production can be caused by the selection of varieties and the application of improper cultivation technology. New high-yielding varieties (VUB) is one of the technological innovations that can be done in increasing rice production in Indonesia. The Inpari 42 variety is one of the rice varieties that is able to have high yield power and is tolerant of pests and diseases. The implementation of intensification programs has the potential to be developed with the addition of organic-based materials to support sustainable agriculture. Biofertilizer is one type of organic fertilizer that contains a variety of microbes that are beneficial to the soil. This study aims to study the effect of doses of inorganic fertilizers and mixhara liquid biological fertilizers on rice plants of the Inpari 42 variety. The hypothesis in this study is that the application of mixhara liquid biological fertilizer can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers and can increase the growth and yield of rice plants of the Inpari 42 variety. The research was conducted in January - April 2023 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, which is located in Jatimulyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City. The study was conducted using a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 9 treatments and 3 replications so that there were 27 treatment plots. Each experimental plot measures 6.4 x 3.1 m. Observational parameters observed include growth and yield. Observations of the growth components observed included plant length, number of tillers, number of leaves, and leaf area. Observations on yield components included flowering age, number of productive tillers, total plant dry weight, 1000 grain weight, and grain dry weight per plot. The data obtained will be analyzed by analysis of variance (F test) at the 5% level. If the results of the variance show that the results have a significant effect, then a further test will be carried out with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test with a level of 5%. The results showed that reducing the dose of NPK up to 50% followed by the addition of liquid biofertilizer mixhara up to 150% was able to increase the growth and yield of rice plants. The combination treatment of mixhara inorganic fertilizer and liquid biological fertilizer was able to produce a production yield of 5,411 kg ha-1 GKP which was 45.05% and 3.07% more than the mixhara liquid biological fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer treatment alone. Inpari 42 rice farming with single use of mixhara liquid biological fertilizer has an efficiency R/C ratio of 2.44. The single use of inorganic fertilizers has an efficiency R/C ratio of 2.35, while the combination of 75% NPK + 150% mixhara liquid biological fertilizer has an efficiency R/C ratio of 2.17. The three comparisons of farming are feasible to try.
