Abstract
Erosi hujan yang terjadi dapat mengakibatkan berbagai macam masalah. Erosi yang terjadi terus-menerus menjadi salah satu faktor penurunan kualitas lahan. Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai erosivitas hujan dan laju erosi akibat dari variasi intensitas hujan pada lahan pemodelan menggunakan pasir kuarsa. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pemodelan hujan menggunakan alat Rainfall Simulator. Rangkain percobaan dilakukan dalam kondisi terkontrol dengan menggunakan 3 variasi intensitas hujan yaitu 1 liter/menit, 2 liter/menit, dan 3 liter/menit. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa terhadap nilai erosivitas hujan dan laju erosi antara menggunakan Metode USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation), laju erosi alat Rainfall Simulator, dan laju erosi Grid. Dari perhitungan erosivitas hujan didapatkan hasil pada intensitas hujan 1 liter/menit R sebesar 7,57 ton.m.cm.ha-1, kemudian pada intensitas 2 liter/menit didapatkan R sebesar 16,76 ton.m.cm.ha-1, dan pada intensitas 3 liter/menit didapatkan R sebesar 26,54 ton.m.cm.ha-1. Dapat dilihat bahwa intensitas hujan linier atau berbanding lurus dengan nilai erosivitas hujan. Selain itu, menggunakan rumus USLE didapatkan nilai laju erosi pada intensitas hujan 1 liter/menit sebesar 0,486 ton/ha/tahun, intensitas hujan 2 liter/menit sebesar 1,075 ton/ha/tahun, dan intensitas hujan 3 liter/menit sebesar 1,703 ton/ha/tahun. Dari hasil laju erosi tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa intensitas hujan linier atau berbanding lurus dengan laju erosi.
English Abstract
Rain erosion that occurs can cause various kinds of problems. Erosion that occurs continuously is one of the factors in decreasing land quality. This study aims to determine the value of rain erosion and erosion rate due to variations in rain intensity on modeling land using quartz sand. In this study, rain modeling was used using the Rainfall Simulator tool. The series of experiments were carried out under controlled conditions using 3 variations in rain intensity, namely 1 liter/minute, 2 liters/minute, and 3 liters/minute. In this study, an analysis was carried out on the value of rain erosion and intermediate erosion rate using the USLE Method (Universal Soil Loss Equation), the erosion rate of the Rainfall Simulator tool, and the erosion rate of the Grid. From the calculation of rain erosion, the results were obtained at a rain intensity of 1 liter/minute R of 7,57 ton.m.cm.ha-1, then at an intensity of 2 liters/minute obtained R of 16,76 ton.m.cm.ha-1, and at an intensity of 3 liters / minute obtained R of 26,54 ton.m.cm.ha-1. It can be seen that the intensity of rain is linear or directly proportional to the value of rain erosion.
