Abstract

Pendahuluan. Kaki diabetik merupakan salah satu komplikasi pada bagian kaki penderita diabetes melitus yang menyebabkan terjadinya kelainan bentuk kaki. Pencegahan kaki diabetik dapat dengan melakukan skrining rutin yang meliputi pemeriksaan kaki, pemberian edukasi, proteksi pada kaki, dan senam kaki diabetik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh paket intervensi perawatan kaki terhadap tingkat risiko kaki diabetik pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kota Malang. Metode. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasy-experimental design dengan pendekatan pre test - post test control group design dengan 18 responden di kelompok intervensi dan 18 respoden di kelompok kontrol yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan formulir New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes (NZSSD) untuk mengukur tingkat risiko kaki diabetik. Hasil. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk pengukuran pre-post dan Mann-Whitney untuk pengukuran antar kelompok. Hasil. Hasil dari uji statistik Wilcoxon menunjukkan Sig. (2-tailed) >0.05 pada kedua kelompok yang berarti tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah pemberian leaflet materi ataupun paket intervensi perawatan kaki. Hasil uji statistik Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa Sig. 0.011<0.05 yang berarti ditemukan perbedaan signifikan pada tingkat risiko kaki diabetik sebelum dan setelah pemberian paket intervensi. Pembahasan. Perbedaan nilai pada tingkat risiko kaki diabetik dengan waktu pemberian paket intervensi perawatan kaki yang terlalu singkat. Kesimpulan paket intervensi terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat risiko kaki diabetik.

English Abstract

Introduction. Diabetic foot is one of the complications in the feet of people with diabetes mellitus which causes foot deformities. Diabetic foot prevention can be done by carrying out routine screening which includes foot examination, providing education, foot protection, and diabetic foot exercises. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a foot care intervention package on the risk of diabetic foot levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Malang City. Method. The method used was a quasy-experimental design with a pre test – post test control group design approach with 18 respondents in the intervention group and 18 respondents in the control group which were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted using the New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes (NZSSD) form to measure the risk level of diabetic foot. Results. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test for pre-post measurements and Mann-Whitney for between-group measurements. Results. The results of the Wilcoxon statistical test showed Sig. (2-tailed) >0.05 in both groups, which means that there was no significant difference before and after administration of leaflet materials or foot care intervention packages. The results of the Mann Whitney statistical test showed that Sig. 0.011<0.05, which means there was a significant difference in the level of risk of diabetic foot before and after giving the intervention package. Discussion. The difference in the value of the risk level of diabetic foot with the time of giving the foot care intervention package that is too short. The conclusion of the intervention package is that there is a significant effect on the risk level of diabetic foot.
