Abstract
ABSTRAK Hasanah, Diva Rizkana. 2022. Tantangan dan Strategi Guru dalam Menggunakan Microsoft Office 365 dalam Mengajar Kelas Online di Masa Pandemi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Brawijaya. Pembimbing: Dian Novita Dewi, S.Pd., M.Li. Kata kunci: Tantangan, Microsoft Office 365, Pengajaran Online, Strategi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan (1) tantangan guru dalam menggunakan Microsoft Office 365 dalam pembelajaran online di kelas selama pandemi, dan (2) strategi yang digunakan guru untuk mengatasi permasalahannya dalam mengajar kelas online selama pandemi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah para guru SD Mustajabah. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan menggunakan wawancara via WhatsApp sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki tantangan seperti (1) mengoperasikan Microsoft Office 365 selama pembelajaran online, dan (2) menemukan materi yang sesuai untuk menarik perhatian siswa selama kelas online. Strategi-strategi yang digunakan guru untuk mengatasi permasalahannya dalam mengajar kelas online seperti (1) menjaga komunikasi dengan orang tua siswa, (2) mengembangkan materi yang bijaksana dan kreatif, (3) membuat kesepakatan baru mengenai kelas online.

Keywords: Challenges, Microsoft Office 365, Online Teaching, Strategies This study aims to explain (1) the teachers challenges in using Microsoft Office 365 in online teaching classroom during the pandemic, and (2) the strategies used by teachers to solve their problems in teaching online classes during the pandemic. The participants of this research were the teachers of SD Mustajabah. A qualitative method was employed in this research and using interviews via WhatsApp as a data collection technique. The findings showed that teachers had the challenges such as (1) operating the Microsoft Office 365 during online learning, and (2) discovering the suitable materials to gain students' attention during the online class. The strategies used by teachers to solve their problems in teaching online classes such as (1) maintaining the communication with parents of students, (2) developing thoughtful and creative materials, (3) making new agreements regarding online class.
