Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki latar belakang fenomena perkembangan ekonomi digital di dunia yang makin pesat salah satunya dengan adanya mata uang kripto atau cryptocurrency. Pengguna cryptocurrency terus bertambah terutama di Indonesia. Salah satu faktor bertambahnya pengguna cryptocurrency di Indonesia adalah karena promosi cryptocurrency melalui giveaway pada media sosial twitter. Banyak Warga Negara Indonesia yang antusias dengan promosi melalui giveaway sehingga tercipta Komunitas Hunter Giveaway Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Komunitas Hunter Giveaway Indonesia karena peneliti ingin mengetahui pengaruh promosi cryptocurrency terhadap minat investasi cryptocurrency. Namun minat investasi tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh promosi saja. Banyak faktor lain yang mempengaruhi minat investasi, seperti pengetahuan investasi dan persepsi resiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi cryptocurrency, pengetahuan investasi, dan persepsi resiko terhadap minat investasi cryptocurrency. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Anggota Komunitas Hunter Giveaway yang mengikuti akun twitter @GAHunterfess. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui google form. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel promosi cryptocurrency (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat investasi cryptocurrency (Y), variabel pengetahuan investasi (X2) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat investasi cryptocurrency (Y), variabel persepsi resiko (X3) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat investasi cryptocurrency (Y), dan variabel promosi cryptocurrency (X1), variabel pengetahuan investasi (X2), dan variabel persepsi resiko (X3) berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap minat investasi cryptocurrency (Y).

English Abstract

This research has a background of the phenomenon of digital economic development in the world that is increasingly rapid, one of which is the existence of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency users continue to grow, especially in Indonesia. One of the factors increasing cryptocurrency users in Indonesia is due to the promotion of cryptocurrency through giveaways on social media twitter. Many Indonesian citizens are enthusiastic about the promotion through giveaway so that the Hunter Giveaway Indonesia community is created. This research was conducted on the Indonesian Hunter Giveaway Community because researchers wanted to know the effect of cryptocurrency promotion on cryptocurrency investment interest. But investment interest is not only influenced by promotions. Many other factors influence investment interest, such as investment knowledge and risk perception. This study aims to determine the effect of cryptocurrency promotion, investment knowledge, and risk perception on cryptocurrency investment interest. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are Hunter Giveaway Community Members who follow @GAHunterfess twitter account. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling with a sample of 100 people. Data collection method using questionnaire through google form. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study show that the cryptocurrency promotion variable (X1) has a significant effect on cryptocurrency investment interest (Y), the investment knowledge variable (X 2) has a significant effect on cryptocurrency investment interest (Y), the risk perception variable (X3) has a significant effect on cryptocurrency investment interest (Y), and the cryptocurrency promotion variable (X1) , investment knowledge variable (X2), and risk perception variable (X3) have a significant effect simultaneously on cryptocurrency investment interest (Y).
