Abstract
Bendungan Warsamson merupakan proyek pengembangan sumber daya air terpadu untuk mendukung peningkatan produksi air baku, listrik, pertanian beririgasi dan pariwisata di Papua Barat. Menurut data Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik (RUPTL) dari Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) tahun 2021-2030, Potensi tenaga air yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) terdapat di Kabupaten Sorong yaitu untuk PLTA Warsamson sebesar 20 MW. Namun sistem kelistrikan di Provinsi Papua Barat saat ini dapat dikatakan masih belum merata, dengan dibangunnya PLTA pada Bendungan Warsamson merupakan wujud dari usaha memenuhi kebutuhan listrik di wilayah Provinsi Papua Barat. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang dilakukan didapat nilai debit desain sebesar 144,09 m3/dt. Komponen Bangunan PLTA yang direncanakan yakni bangunan pengambilan, saluran pembawa berupa penstock dan tailrace. Diameter penstock 4 m dengan ketebalan 16 mm. Dihasilkan daya sebesar 20 sMW dengan energi rerata tahunan 132.410,94 MWh dan faktor kapasitas sebesar 75,58% menggunkan turbin tipe kaplan. Total biaya rencana proyek sebesar Rp 917.884.011.582,871 dengan nilai BCR 1,197, NPV Rp 181.184.301.319,569, IRR 12,03% dan paidback period 16 tahun 257 hari.
English Abstract
Warsamson Dam is an integrated water resources development project to support increased production of raw water, electricity, irrigated agriculture, and tourism in West Papua. According to data from the Electricity Supply Business Plan from the State Electricity Company for 2021-2030, the potential for hydropower that can be developed into a Hydropower Plant is in Sorong Regency, specifically at Warsamson Hydropower it can be up to 20 MW. However, the current electricity system in West Papua Province included the category of uneven. Therefore, the construction of hydropower at Warsamson Dam is a form of effort to meet electricity needs in the West Papua Province region. Based on the results of the analysis, a design discharge value of 144,09 m3/s is obtained. The planned hydropower structure components are the intake, the channel in the form of penstock and tailrace. Penstock diameter 4 m with a thickness of 16 mm. Generated power of 20 MW with an annual average energy of 132.410,94 MWh and a capacity factor of 75,58% using kaplan type turbines. The total project plan cost is Rp 917.884.011.582,871 with a BCR value of 1,197, NPV of Rp 181.184.301.319,569, IRR of 12,03% and payback period of 16 years 257 days.
