Abstract
ialisis. Tingkat kecemasan dapat disebabkan oleh kurangnya keterampilan komunikasi terapeutik perawat terhadap pasien hemodialisis yang menjalani prosedur invasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan pada pasien hemodialisis di RSPAD Soepraoen Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pada penelitian ini terdapat responden dengan jumlah pasien hemodialisis sebanyak 41 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner penerapan komunikasi terapeutik perawat kepada pasien yang terdiri dari 16 pertanyaan dengan menggunakan model Skala Guttman dan Visual Analog Scale for Anxiety (VAS-A) untuk kecemasan. Uji korelasi antar variabel menggunakan uji statistik Spearman Rank dengan p-value < 0,05. Korelasi antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan status tingkat kecemasan pasien adalah -0,479 menunjukkan cukup kuat dan memiliki p-value 0,01. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara keterampilan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan pada pasien hemodialisis. Oleh karena itu, komunikasi terapeutik perawat memegang peranan penting dalam tingkat kecemasan pasien hemodialisis yang menjalani prosedur invasif.
English Abstract
Anxiety levels can be caused by the lack of therapeutic communication skills of the nurse with hemodialysis clients undergoing invasive procedures. This study aimed to identify the correlation between nurse therapeutic communication and the level of anxiety in hemodialysis patients at the Soepraoen Army Hospital Malang. The research design used analytical observational with a cross-sectional approach. In this study, there were respondents with a total of 41 hemodialysis patients. The research instruments used are a questionnaire for the application of nurse therapeutic communication to patients consisting of 16 questions using the Guttman Scale Model and the Visual Analog Scale for Anxiety questionnaire. Correlation test between variables used Spearman Rank statistic test with p-value < 0,05. The correlation between nurse therapeutic communication and patient anxiety levels status was -0.479 indicated strong enough and had a p-value of 0.01. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that there is a correlation between the therapeutic communication skill of nurses and the anxiety level in a hemodialysis patient. Therefore, the therapeutic communication of nurses plays an important role in the level of anxiety of hemodialysis patients undergoing invasive procedures.
