Abstract
Tanaman binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) adalah salah satu tanaman herbal yang tergolong dalam famili Bacellaceae. Ekstrak dari tanaman binahong memiliki potensi sebagai antioksidan yang baik dalam tubuh karena dalam tanaman binahong mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan senyawa fenol. Senyawa ini dapat diperoleh dengan proses ekstraksi. Metode ekstraksi yang digunakan yaitu metode perebusan dan maserasi. Jenis daun yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah daun segar dan daun kering. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan pengaruh tingkat ketuaan daun muda, daun setengah tua dan daun tua terhadap kandungan total flavonoid dan kandungan total fenol menggunakan metode ekstraksi maserasi dan perebusan. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode perebusan pada daun segar nilai kandungan flavonoid tertinggi pada tingkat ketuaan daun bagian muda pada lama perebusan 120 sebesar 27,75 mgQE/10gram dan nilai fenol tertinggi pada tingkat ketuaan daun bagian tua dengan lama perebusan 120 menit sebesar 4,87 mgGAE/10gram. Daun binahong kering nilai kandungan flavonoid tertinggi pada daun muda dengan lama perebusan 120 menit sebesar 29,01 mgQE/10gram dan nilai fenol tertinggi pada daun bagian tua dengan lama perebusan selama 120 menit sebesar 6,00 mgGAE/10gram. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode maserasi nilai kandungan flavonoid tertinggi pada daun binahong segar terdapat pada daun bagian muda dengan nilai 13,19 mgQE/gram sampel dan nilai fenol tertinggi terdapat pada daun muda dengan nilai 2,22 mgGAE/gram sampel. Daun binahong kering nilai kandungan flavonoid tertinggi pada daun tua dengan nilai 5,35/gram sampel dan nilai fenol tertinggi terdapat pada daun bagian tua dengan nilai 0,51 mgGAE/gram sampel. Tingkat ketuaan daun dan lama perebusan daun berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kandungan total flavonoid dan kandungan total fenol. Tingkat ketuaan daun pada daun segar yang diekstrak menggunakan metode maserasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kandungan total flavonoid dan kandungan total fenol. Akan tetapi, tingkat ketuaan daun pada daun kering yang diekstrak menggunakan metode maserasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kandungan flavonoid dan kandungan fenol.
English Abstract
Binahong plant (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) is one of the herbal plants belonging to the familyBacellaceae. Extracts from the binahong plant have potential as good antioxidants in the body because the binahong plant contains flavonoids and phenolic compounds. This compound can be obtained by the extraction process. The extraction method used is the method of boiling and maceration. The types of leaves used in this study were fresh leaves and dry leaves. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the degree of aging of young leaves, half-old leaves and old leaves on the total flavonoid content and total phenol content using the maceration and boiling extraction methods. The results of the study using the boiling method on fresh leaves showed that the highest flavonoid content was at the age of the young leaves at 120 minutes of boiling 27.75 mgQE/10 gram and the highest phenol value was at the level of aging of the old leaves with a boiling time of 120 minutes at 4.87 mgGAE/ 10grams. Dried binahong leaves the highest value of flavonoid content in young leaves with boiling time of 120 minutes was 29.01 mgQE/10gram and the highest phenol value was found in old leaves with boiling time of 120 minutes of 6.00 mgGAE/10gram. The results of the study using the maceration method showed that the highest value of flavonoid content in fresh binahong leaves was found in young leaves with a value of 13.19 mgQE/gram sample and the highest phenol value was found in young leaves with a value of 2.22 mgGAE/gram sample. Dried binahong leaves, the highest value of flavonoid content was in old leaves with a value of 5.35/gram sample and the highest phenol value was in the old leaves with a value of 0.51 mgGAE/gram sample. The level of leaf aging and the time of boiling leaves significantly influence the total flavonoid content and total phenol content. The degree of leaf senescence in fresh leaves extracted using the maceration method significantly affected the total flavonoid content and total phenol content. However, the degree of leaf aging in dried leaves extracted using the maceration method had no effect on the flavonoid and phenolic content.
