Abstract
Kebakaran merupakan suatu peristiwa yang tak terhindarkan dan memberikan berbagai macam kerugian. Kejadian kebakaran di lingkungan universitas masih sering terjadi, namun kesiagaan dari pemadam kebakaran dan fasilitas untuk memadamkan kebakaran masih kurang memadai. Universitas Brawijaya memiliki banyak bangunan tinggi di dalamnya, salah satunya yaitu Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa. Lokasi Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa dikelilingi oleh gedung-gedung tinggi sehingga cukup sulit dicapai mobil pemadam kebakaran, selain itu sarana jalur evakuasi vertikal berupa tangga darurat pada gedung belum disediakan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis secara visual dan deskriptif mengacu pada Permen PU No. 26 Tahun 2008. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan penerapan sistem proteksi kebakaran pada Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa belum sepenuhnya memenuhi peraturan, seperti tidak tersedianya jalur akses pemadam kebakaran, tidak tersedia eksit terlindung, tidak tersedia APAR, adanya perabot di jalur evakuasi, terdapat pintu dengan arah ayun dan dimensi yang kurang sesuai, dan tidak tersedianya signage pada lantai 1. Hasil analisis tersebut dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan rekomendasi desain agar sistem proteksi kebakaran pada Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa menjadi lebih optimal.
English Abstract
Fire is an inevitable event that often causes various losses. The occurrence of fires in university environments is still frequent, but the preparedness of fire extinguishers and fire suppression facilities is inadequate. Universitas Brawijaya has many high buildings, one of which is the Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa. The location of the Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa is surrounded by high buildings, making it difficult for fire trucks to reach, and there is also a lack of vertical evacuation routes such as emergency stairs in the building. The research uses a qualitative method with visual and descriptive analysis referring to Permen PU No. 26 Tahun 2008. The final result of the analysis shows that the implementation of fire protection systems in the Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa does not fully comply with regulations. There are inadequate or non-compliant fire protection system implementations, such as the absence of fire access routes, lack of protected exits, absence of fire extinguishers, presence of furniture in evacuation routes, doors with swing direction and inadequate dimensions, and the absence of signage on the first floor. The results of this analysis can be considered as recommendations for design improvements to optimize the fire protection system in the Gedung Kreativitas Mahasiswa.
