Abstract

Kelimpahan komunitas Arthropoda tanah dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator stabilitas dalam agroekosistem. Pemberian pupuk hijau Crotalaria juncea pada tebu disamping untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah, mengurangi erosi, dan meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman, diharapkan secara signifikan meningkatkan keanekaragaman arthropoda tanah. Penelitian pengaruh manipulasi habitat tanaman tebu dengan Crotalaria juncea terhadap keanekaragaman arthropoda permukaan tanah, dilakukan di Desa Ngembul, Kecamatan Binangun, Kabupaten Blitar, mulai bulan Juli 2021 sampai dengan April 2022. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh manipulasi habitat tanaman tebu dengan C. juncea terhadap arthropoda permukaan tanah. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, sehingga ada 12 plot. Ukuran plot 20 x 20 m dengan jarak antar plot 2 m. Perlakuan penelitian yaitu Bongkar raton + C. juncea (BR + Cj), Bongkar raton tanpa C. juncea (BR+K), Rawat raton + C. juncea (RR+Cj) dan rawat raton tanpa C. juncea (RR+K). Pengamatan/pengambilan sampel menggunakan pitfall trap, setiap plot diamati 5 titik transek. Pitfall trap dibiarkan 24 jam, selanjutnya serangga yang terperangkap di masukkan alkohol 70. Identifikasi dilakukan di Laboratorium Entomologi Balittas Malang. Hasil identifikasi Arthropoda permukaan tanah di lahan penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 7 Ordo, 13 famili dan 27 spesies. Arthropoda yang paling banyak di temukan adalah Colembolla 62,1, Hymenoptera 24,1, Arachnida 7,2, Orthoptera 4,2, dan Coleoptera 2,4. Manipulasi habitat tanaman tebu dengan C. juncea pada sistem tanam rawat raton berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelimpahan arthropoda tanah, sedangkan pada sistem tanam bongkar raton tidak berpengaruh nyata. Manipulasi habitat tanaman tebu dengan C. juncea berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan indeks diversitas (H'), indeks kemerataan (E), dan indeks kekayaan (R) arthropoda tanah. Manipulasi habitat tanaman tebu dengan C. juncea berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan fluktuasi arthropoda dan komposisi spesies arthropoda pada setiap perlakuan. English Abstract

The abundance of soil artropod communities can be used as an indicator of stability in agroecosystems. The application of Crotalaria juncea green manure to sugarcane, in addition to increasing soil fertility, reducing erosion and increasing plant productivity, is expected to significantly increase soil insect biodiversity. Research on the Effect of manipulation of sugarcane habitat with Crotalaria juncea on soil surface arthropod diversity was carried out in Ngembul Village, Binangun District, Blitar Regency, from July 2021 to April 2022. The aim of the research was to evaluate the Effect of manipulation of sugarcane habitat with Crotalaria juncea on soil surface arthropod diversity. The research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, so there were 12 plots. The plot size is 20 x 20 m with a distance between plots of 2 m. The research treatments were Dismantling raton + C. juncea, Dismantling raton without C. juncea, Treating raton + C. juncea and treating raton without C. juncea. Observation/sampling using a pitfall trap, each plot was observed at 5 transect points. The pitfall trap is left for 24 hours, then the trapped insects are placed in 70% alcohol. Identification was carried out at the Malang Balittas Entomology Laboratory. The results of the identification of ground surface artropods in the research area were 7 orders, 13 families and 27 species. The most common artropods found were Colembolla 62.1%, Hymenoptera 24.1%, Arachnida 7.2%, Orthoptera 4.2%, and Coleoptera 2.4%. Manipulation of sugarcane habitat with C. juncea to the raton care planting system had a significant effect on the abundance of soil artropods, whereas there was no significant effect to the raton unloading planting system. Manipulation of sugarcane habitat with C. juncea to sugarcane plants influence the increase diversity index (H'), evenness index (E), and richness index (R) of soil artropods. Manipulation of sugarcane habitat with C. juncea affected the development of artropod fluctuations and composition of the artropod species in each treatment. Manipulation of sugarcane habitat with C. juncea has an effect on the number of sugar cane stems/saplings, increases predator populations and reduces sugar cane borer pest infestations
