Abstract

RINGKASAN Romzul Islami Alfarisi. 195040207111127. Pengaruh aplikasi PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) dan Pupuk NPK terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium ascolonicum L.). Dibawah Bimbingan Dr. Ir. Setyono Yudo Tyasmoro, MS sebagai Pembimbing Utama. Bawang merah merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Selain digunakan sebagai bahan campuran masakan bawang merah juga dimanfaatkan sebagai obat tradisional karena memiliki kandungan beberapa zat yang dapat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Kandungan yang terdapat di bawang merah diantaranya zat anti kanker, zat antibiotik, kalsium, karbohidrat, zat besi, fosfor, vitamin A dan C. Produktivitas bawang merah di Indonesia sendiri dari tahun 2015 sampai 2019 mengalami penurunan, pada tahun 2015 yaitu sebesar 9,00 t ha-1 kemudian mengalami penurunan pada 2 tahun setelahnya mencapai 8,24 t ha-1 (BPS,2019). Menurunya produktivitas bawang merah salah satu penyebab utamanya yaitu karena menurunya kesuburan tanah karena pengunaan pupuk anorganik yang terus menerus dan berlebihan. Pemberian PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobakteria) diharapkan mampu mengurangi ketergantungan penggunaan pupuk anorganik. Pemberian PGPR bertujuan untuk mengatasi penurunan kualitas lahan, meningkatkan efesiensi penggunaan pupuk anorganik dan menghindari pencemaran lingkungan akibat penggunaan pupuk anorganik yang tidak terkendali. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Bocek, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur mulai bulan april – juni 2023. Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT), terdiri atas 6 perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali, yaitu P0N1=(Tanpa PGPR + NPK 300 kg ha-1), P0N2=(Tanpa PGPR + NPK 400 kg ha-1), P0N3=(Tanpa PGPR + NPK 500 kg ha), P1N1=(PGPR + NPK 300 kg ha-1), P1N2=(PGPR + NPK 400 kg ha-1), P1N3=(PGPR + NPK 500 kg ha-1). Parameter yang diamati ialah panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, luas daun, bobot kering tanaman, laju pertumbuhan, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, bobot segar umbi, bobot kering umbi, analisis tanah dan analisis serapan hara N, P, K. Analisa data menggunakan analisis ragam (Uji F) pada taraf 5%. Jika F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel 5% atau hasil pengujian diperoleh pengaruh yang nyata antar perlakuan maka akan diuji lanjut menggunakan analisis Duncan Multyple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat interaksi dari aplikasi PGPR dan pupuk NPK pada parameter berat kering tanaman, laju pertumbuhan, serapan hara tanaman, diameter umbi, bobot segar umbi per rumpun, bobot segar umbi per hektar, bobot kering umbi per rumpun dan bobot kering umbi per hektar. Perlakuan dosis 400 kg ha-1 NPK yang dikombinasikan dengan PGPR konsentrasi 40 ml pada tanaman bawang merah menunjukan hasil yang paling baik terhadap berat kering tanaman, serapan hara tanaman, diameter umbi, bobot segar umbi per hektar, dan bobot kering umbi per hektar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pemberian PGPR mampu menurunkan pengunaan dosis pupuk anorganik.

English Abstract

Effect of Application of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallots plants (Allium ascolonicum L.). Under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Setyono Yudo Tyasmoro, MS as the main supervisor. Shallots is one of the plants that is much favored by the people of Indonesia which has high economic value. Besides being used as a mixture of shallots cuisine, it is also used as a traditional medicine because it contains several substances that can be beneficial for health. The content contained in shallots includes anti cancer substances, antibiotics, calcium, carbohydrates, iron, phosphorus, vitamins A and C. The productivity of shallots in Indonesia itself from 2015 to 2019 has decreased, in 2015 which was 9.00 t ha-1 then decreased in 2 years after that reached 8.24 t ha-1 (BPS, 2019). The decline in the productivity of shallots is one of the main causes, namely due to decreased soil fertility due to the use of continuous and excessive inorganic fertilizer. Provision of PGPR (Plant Growth Promotion Rhizobacteri) is expected to be able to reduce the dependence on the use of inorganic fertilizer. Provision of PGPR aims to overcome a decrease in land quality, increase the efficiency of the use of inorganic fertilizer and avoid environmental pollution due to the use of uncontrolled inorganic fertilizer. The study was conducted in the Bocek Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, East Java from March - May 2023. This study used a split plot design (RPT), consisting of 6 treatments and Each treatment is repeated 4 times, namely P0N1=(Without PGPR + NPK 300 kg ha-1), P0N2=( Without PGPR + NPK 400 kg ha-1), P0N3=( Without PGPR + NPK 500 kg ha), P1N1=(PGPR + NPK 300 kg ha-1), P1N2=(PGPR + NPK 400 kg ha-1), P1N3=(PGPR + NPK 500 kg ha-1). Observed parameters are plant length, number of leaves, number of tilers, leaf area, plant dry weight, crop growth rate, number of tubers, diameter of tubers, fresh weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers, soil analysis and analysis of nutrient uptake N, P, K. Data analysis used analysis of variance (F test) at the 5% level. If the calculated F is greater than the F table of 5% or the test results show a significant effect between the treatments, it will be further tested using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) analysis at the 5% level. The research results showed that there was an interaction between the application of PGPR and NPK fertilizer on the parameters of plant dry weight, crop growth rate, plant nutrient uptake, diameter of tubers, fresh weight of tubers per clump, fresh weight of tubers per hectare, dry weight of tubers per clump and dry weight of tubers per hectare . Treatment with a dose of 400 kg ha-1 NPK combined with 40 ml concentration of PGPR on shallot plants showed the best results on plant dry weight, plant nutrient uptake, diameter of tubers, fresh weight of tubers per hectare, and dry weight of tubers per hectare. So it can be concluded that giving PGPR can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizer doses.
