Abstract

ICT-based learning media is considered to have a positive impact on the learning process. Teachers at BSS High School are known to still use ICT-based learning media in this post-pandemic. The purpose of the study is to know the teacher's perspective on the effectiveness of using ICT-based learning towards English learning in the post-pandemic at BSS High School Malang. ICT-based learning media is a learning media that utilizes Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The research method in this study used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The informants in this research were three English teachers from SMA BSS Malang. The instrument used in this research was the interview guideline. The results of this study show that English teachers at SMA BSS Malang still use ICT-based learning media in this post-pandemic. This is because SMA BSS Malang has already been using ICT-based learning media before the pandemic. During this post-pandemic, English teachers at SMA BSS Malang are more intense in using ICT as a learning medium because it is considered effective and efficient during the teaching and learning process. Some ICT-based learning media used by teachers at SMA BSS Malang include Quizizz, Kahoot, Socrative, Liveworksheet, Wizer, QuizWhizzer, Google Form, Wakelet, and Google Classroom. This study concluded that English teachers at SMA BSS Malang felt that ICT-based learning media used in the post-pandemic were very effective because it made it easier for teachers in the learning process and could improve student learning achievement. Further, it was also considered efficient in terms of time and resources because of paperless test.
