Abstract
Employee Engagement merupakan keterikatan yang dirasakan karyawan dengan lingkungan kerja dan peran dalam pekerjaannya. Dalam meningkatkan kualitasnya, perusahaan perlu memperhatikan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki dengan memberikan pelatihan dan memenuhi motivasi karyawan. Terciptanya employee engagement ini dapat meningkatkan komitmen dan loyalitas karyawan terhadap perusahaan sehingga lebih siap menghadapi persaingan dan tantangan pekerjaan di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pelatihan team building, motivasi kerja, dan employee engagement serta mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan team building dan motivasi kerja baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap employee engagement PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada 47 karyawan PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan team building, motivasi kerja, dan employee engagement PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi dinilai sudah sangat baik. Selain itu, secara parsial pelatihan team building memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap employee engagement PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi sebesar 30,8% dan motivasi kerja juga memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap employee engagement PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi sebesar 29,5%. Selain itu, pelatihan team building dan motivasi kerja secara simultan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap employee engagement PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi sebesar 92,5% dan sisanya sebesar 7,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan PT Pegadaian Cabang Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi untuk mempertahankan penerapan pelatihan team building agar dapat berjalan lebih konsisten dan kondusif seperti karyawan turut berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan briefing pagi. Selain itu, perusahaan dapat memperhatikan kembali dalam pemberian motivasi kepada karyawan seperti pemberian insentif berupa reward, tunjangan, dan lain sebagainya kepada karyawan. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan mempertimbangan variabel lain di luar penelitian ini, seperti quality of work life, budaya organisasi, job satisfaction, dan leadership.
English Abstract
Employee Engagement is the attachment that employees feel with the work environment and roles in their work. In improving its quality, companies need to pay attention to the quality of their human resources by providing training and fulfilling employee motivation. The creation of employee engagement can increase employee commitment and loyalty to the company so that they are better prepared to face competition and job challenges in the future. This study aims to determine and describe team building training, work motivation, and employee engagement and to determine and analyze the effect of team building training and work motivation both partially and simultaneously on employee engagement of PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. The research was conducted on 47 employees of PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency using nonprobability sampling technique with saturated sample type. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that team building training, work motivation, and employee engagement of PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency were considered very good. In addition, partially team building training has a significant positive effect on employee engagement of PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency by 30.8% and work motivation also has a significant positive effect on employee engagement of PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency by 29.5%. In addition, team building training and work motivation simultaneously have a significant positive effect on the employee engagement of PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency by 92.5% and the remaining 7.5% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Based on the research results, it is recommended that PT Pegadaian Genteng Branch, Banyuwangi Regency maintain the implementation of team building training so that it can run more consistently and conducively, such as employees actively participating in morning briefing activities. In addition, the company can pay attention again in providing motivation to employees such as providing incentives in the form of rewards, allowances, and so on to employees. Future researchers are expected to develop this research by considering other variables outside of this study, such as quality of work life, organizational culture, job satisfaction, and leadership.
