Abstract
Gambas (Luffa acutangula L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman sayuran buah semusim yang merambat. Gambas mengandung nutrisi seperti vitamin, serat dan mineral. Namun, saat ini tanaman gambas jarang dibudidayakan, sehingga masih belum banyak produksi gambas di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, cara mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan penggunaan pemberian pupuk organik cair dan memperhatikan pengaturan jarak tanam dalam budidaya tanaman gambas. Pemberian pupuk organik cair dan jarak tanam yang optimum diharapkan memperoleh hasil dari pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman yang maksimum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman gambas melalui pemberian pupuk organik cair dan pengaturan jarak tanam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2022 hingga Oktober 2022 di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya, Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Malang, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) disusun secara non faktorial yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapat 24 satuan denah percobaan. Dengan kombinasi sebagai berikut, P1 = Jarak Tanam 60 × 50 cm + Kontrol (Pupuk Organik Cair 0 ml.L-1), P2 = Jarak Tanam 40 × 50 cm + Kontrol (Pupuk Organik Cair 0 ml.L-1), P3 = Jarak Tanam 60 × 50 cm + Pupuk Organik Cair (15 ml.L-1), P4 = Jarak Tanam 40 × 50 cm + Pupuk Organik Cair (15 ml.L-1), P5 = Jarak Tanam 60 × 50 cm + Pupuk Organik Cair (30 ml.L-1) dan P6 = Jarak Tanam 40 × 50 cm + Pupuk Organik Cair (30 ml.L-1). Pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi pertumbuhan tanaman (jumlah daun, panjang tanaman, diameter batang, dan luas daun), hasil (bobot buah segar, jumlah buah dan hasil panen gambas) dan analisis tanah (N, P, K, C organik dan pH tanah). Data pengamatan yang telah didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dengan uji F pada taraf 5%. Apabila perlakuan berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan jarak tanam 60 × 50 cm + Pupuk Organik Cair (30 ml.L-1) memiliki hasil yang terbaik (30 ml.L-1) pada parameter pertumbuhan dari tanaman gambas. Perlakuan dengan Jarak Tanam 40 × 50 cm + Pupuk Organik Cair (30 ml.L-1) memiliki hasil panen per ha sebesar 17,66 ton/ha
English Abstract
Luffa (Luffa acutangula L.) is one of the annual fruit vegetable plants that propagates. Luffa contains nutrients such as vitamins, fiber and minerals. However, currently the gambas plant is rarely cultivated, so that there is still not much production of in Indonesia. Therefore, the way to overcome the problem is that by giving the liquid organic fertilizer and taking care of the planting distance arrangement in the cultivation of luffa plant. The giving of liquid organic fertilizer and optimal plant distance arrangement is expected to have optimal growth and maximal plant production. This study is aimed to know the plant growth of luffa (Luffa acutangula L.) plant result by giving liquid organic fertilizer and planting distance arrangement. This research was carried out from August 2022 to October 2022 in the study land of Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Jatimulyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang, East Java. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) which was arranged in a non-factorial which has 6 ppliction repeated 4 times consequently there are 24 units of study area / sketch. With the combination as follows, P1 = Planting Distance 60 × 50 cm + Control (liquid organic fertilizer 0 ml.L-1), P2 = 40 × 50 cm Planting Distance + Control (liquid organic fertilizer 0 ml.L-1 ), P3 = 60 Planting Distance × 50 cm + liquid organic fertilizer (15 ml.L-1), P4 = Spacing 40 × 50 cm + liquid organic fertilizer (15 ml.L-1), P5 = Spacing 60 × 50 cm + liquid organic fertilizer (30 ml.L-1) and P6 = Spacing 40 × 50 cm + liquid organic fertilizer (30 ml.L-1 ). Observations were made on plant growth (number of leaves, plant length, stem diameter, and leaf area), yield (weight of fresh fruit, number of fruits and yield of luffa) and soil analysis (N, P, K, organic C and soil pH). Observing data is analyzed using analysis of variance with the F test at the 5% level. If the treatment has a significant effect, then it is continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. Based on the research it shows that the treatment with the planting distance of 60 × 50 cm + liquid organic fertilizer (30 ml.L-1) produced the best result based on growth parameter of luffa plant. The treatment with the planting distance of 40 × 50 cm + liquid organic fertilizer (30 ml.L-1) produced harvest result of 17,66 tons/ha.
