Abstract

RINGKASAN Rama Adipura.205040201111003 Aktivitas Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) Asal Tanaman Tanduk Rusa (Plantcerium wandae) Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Intensitas Penyakit Pada Tanaman Pakcoy.Dibawah Bimbingan Luqman Qurata Aini, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D.

SUMMARY Rama Adipura.205040201111003 Activity of Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) from Deer Antler Plants (Plantcerium wandae) on Growth and Disease Intensity in Pakcoy Plants. Under the Guidance of Luqman Qurata Aini, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D. Pakcoy is a vegetable plant that belongs to the Brassicaceae family and is an introduced vegetable from China which is starting to be widely cultivated in Indonesia. Pakcoy plants have an average production that can be said to be low because there is a decrease in production caused by several factors such as interference from pests. Based on the description above, Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) was applied which comes from isolates of Platycerium plant bacteria which can help increase plant growth and suppress the development of pests and diseases that can attack plants. The aim of this research is to find out the best activity between the best Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) of the Deer Antler Plant (Platycerium wandae) which can stimulate the growth of pakcoy plants and to find out the best activity between the Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) of the Deer Antler Plant (Platycerium wandae) which can reduce the incidence of disease. This research was carried out from August to November 2023. The research field for the Activity of Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) of Deer Antler Plants (Platycerium wandae) on growth and disease intensity in pakcoy plants was carried out at the Lily Harvest Agricultural Land, Tulungrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java Province. The experimental design used in this test used a randomized block design (RAK) with 9 treatments and 3 replications in 27 research plots where each plot contained 16 pak choy plants, so 432 plants were needed. The observation variables were plant height, number of leaves, plant wet and dry weight, root wet weight and root dry weight and severity of clubroot disease. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, several things can be seen, such as the results of further tests carried out with DMRT on plant height showing that the PGPB treatment at 1 and 2 MST was not significantly different from the control treatment (water). However, at 3 MST and 4 MST the results showed a real effect on the control treatment (water). Then the number of leaves showed that PGPB at 1, 2 and 3 MST was not significantly different from the control treatment (water). However, at 4 MST it showed a real effect on the control treatment (water). The wet weight of the plants showed a significant difference to the control treatment, while the dry weight of the plants was not significantly different to the control treatment (water). The wet weight of plant roots showed a significant difference to the control treatment, while the dry weight of plant roots was not significantly different to the control treatment (water). The severity of clubroot disease showed that PGPB was not significantly different from the control treatment (water). In terms of clubroot disease severity, there were treatments that were not significantly different from water, such as treatments P5 (Bacteria PW 4a), P7 (Bacteria PW 4c) and P9 (PGPR).
