Abstract
Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit kronik yang membutuhkan pengobatan dan perawatan jangka panjang. Dalam melakukan perawatan dibutuhkan dukungan keluarga yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap kejadian stroke pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Dau. Rancangan penelitian adalah case control dengan pendekatan retrospektif kohort. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 106 orang yang terdiri dari 53 orang keluarga dengan penyakit hipertensi � 2 (dua) tahun dan 53 orang keluarga dengan stroke akibat hipertensi di Puskesmas Dau. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dukungan keluarga. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dari rumah ke rumah responden bersama kader kesehatan. Uji hubungan dua variabel menggunakan chi square dengan p-value 0,05. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dukungan keluarga terhadap penderita hipertensi dan kejadian stroke terbanyak yaitu kategori dukungan keluarga sedang dimana angka kejadian penderita hipetensi yang tidak mengalami kejadian stroke sebanyak 14 orang (26,4) dan mengalami kejadian stroke sebanyak 39 orang (73,6. Hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap kejadian stroke termasuk kategori kuat dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar - 0,493 dan p-value 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap kejadian stroke pada penderita hipertensi. Dengan demikian diharapkan keluarga dapat meningkatkan dukungan pada perawatan pasien hipertensi melalui pemberian dukungan emosional, penghargaan, instrumental dan informasi pada pasien hipertensi agar tekanan darah dalam batas normal dan tidak terjadi komplikasi stroke.
English Abstract
Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires long-term treatment and care. In carrying out treatment, optimal family support is needed. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and the incidence of stroke in hypertension sufferers at the Dau Community Health Center. The research design was case control with a retrospective cohort approach. The respondents for this study were 106 people consisting of 53 families with hypertension for ≥ 2 (two) years and 53 families with stroke due to hypertension at the Dau Community Health Center. The research instrument used was a family support questionnaire. Data collection was carried out from house to house of respondents together with health cadres. Test the relationship between two variables using chi square with a p-value of 0.05. The results of the study showed that family support for hypertension sufferers and the highest incidence of stroke were in the moderate family support category where the incidence of hypertension sufferers who did not experience a stroke was 14 people (26.4%) and 39 people experienced a stroke (73.6%). Family support for the incidence of stroke is in the strong category with a correlation coefficient of -0.493 and a p-value of 0.000. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between family support and the incidence of stroke in hypertensive sufferers. Thus, it is hoped that families can increase support in the care of hypertensive patients through providing emotional support, appreciation, instrumental and information to hypertensive patients so that blood pressure is within normal limits and stroke complications do not occur
