Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa penerapan ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) pada PT XL Axiata Tbk periode 2020-2022. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menunjukan pentingnya penerapan ACGS pada PT XL Axiata Tbk selaku satu-satunya perusahaan industri telekomunikasi di Indonesia yang masuk kedalam kategori ASEAN Asset Class. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis menggunakan data sekunder. Data sekunder yang digunakan dikumpulkan melalui website resmi PT XL Axiata Tbk dan Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa PT XL Axiata Tbk memperoleh nilai akhir sebesar 85,78 dengan predikat sangat terpercaya untuk periode 2020, nilai akhir sebesar 81,51 dengan predikat terpercaya untuk periode 2021, dan nilai akhir sebesar 81,37 dengan predikat terpercaya untuk periode 2022. Atas analisis yang dilakukan, perusahaan memiliki kelemahan pada komponen ACGS yaitu komponen hak pemegang saham dan komponen tanggung jawab dari dewan perusahaan. Dengan demikian, perusahaan perlu meningkatkan kembali dan memaksimalkan penerapan ACGS pada tata kelola perusahaan demi mempertahankan nilai perusahaan dan juga predikat yang telah diberikan.
English Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) at PT XL Axiata Tbk for 2020-2022 period. This is done to show the importance of implementing ACGS at PT XL Axiata Tbk as the only telecommunications industry company in Indonesia that is included in the ASEAN Asset Class category. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with analytical methods using secondary data. The secondary data used was collected through the official website of PT XL Axiata Tbk and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that PT XL Axiata Tbk obtained a final score of 85.78 with a very trusted predicate for the 2020 period, a final score of 81.51 with a trusted predicate for the 2021 period, and a final score of 81.37 with a trusted predicate for the 2022 period. Based on the analysis conducted, the company has weaknesses in the ACGS component, namely the right of shareholders component and responsibilities of the company's board component. Thus, the company needs to increase and maximize the implementation of ACGS in the company’s corporate governance in order to maintain corporate value and also the title that has been given.
