Abstract

Karyawan dituntut untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas kerja dan terkadang justru menyebabkan tekanan-tekanan tiada henti yang akhirnya menyebabkan terjadinya stress kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Stres kerja terhadap Employee Engagement karyawan Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Divisi Jasa Asa I, (2) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Stres kerja terhadap Work-Life Balance karyawan Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Divisi Jasa Asa I, (3) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Work-Life Balance terhadap Employee Engagement karyawan Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Divisi Jasa Asa I, (4) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Stres Kerja terhadap Employee Engagement karyawan Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Divisi Jasa Asa I melalui Work-Life Balance. Jenis penelitian adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling, dimana subjek penelitian adalah seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 63 orang karyawan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Stres Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement, Stres Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Work-Life Balance, Work-Life Balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement, dan Stres Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement melalui Work-Life Balance.

English Abstract

Employees are required to continue to improve the quality of work and sometimes it actually causes endless pressures which eventually lead to work stress. This study aims to (1) identify and analyze the effect of work stress on Employee Engagement employees of Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Jasa Asa Division I, (2) identify and analyze the effect of work stress on the Work-Life Balance of employees of Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Jasa Asa Division I, (3) knowing and analyzing the effect of Work-Life Balance on Employee Engagement of employees of Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Division of Jasa Asa I, (4) knowing and analyzing the effect of Work Stress on Employee Engagement of employees of Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang Division of Jasa Asa I through Work-Life Balance. This type of research is correlational with a quantitative approach. This study used total sampling, where the research subjects were the entire population, totaling 63 employees. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires online. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results showed that Job Stress had a negative and significant effect on Employee Engagement, Job Stress had a negative and significant effect on Work-Life Balance, Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement, and Work Stress has a negative and significant effect on Employee Engagement through Work-Life Balance.
