Abstract
English Abstract
Introduction: The morbidity rate of infectious diseases that can be prevented by immunization in children is still high. The high morbidity rate can be caused by immunization coverage that has not reached the target. According to data from the Malang City Health Office for 2021, Dinoyo Village has an immunization coverage rate that does not meet standards, namely 59%. Completeness of immunization is influenced by the mother's behavior. Aims: to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status, perceptions (suscepbility, severity, threat, benefit, barrier, self-efficacy, cues to action) of mother, and completeness of immunization in infants aged 12 months in Dinoyo Village, Malang City. Methods: Research design using cross sectional analysis. The sample of this study was selected using the total sampling technique method. The number of respondents in this study 51 mothers. Analysing using smartPLS 3. Results: showed that socioeconomic status is not related to perceived suscepbility (p value 0.142 > 0.05) and severity (p value 0.208 > 0.05), while socioeconomic status is significantly related to perceived benefits (p value 0.015 <0.05), barriers (p value 0.015 <0.05), and self-efficacy (p value 0.007 <0.05). Perceived suscepbility and severity are significantly related to perceived threat with p value of 0.016 and 0.000 <0.05. Perceived threat is significantly related to completeness of immunizaton (p value 0.048) while perceived benefits, barriers, self-efficacy and cues to action are not related to completeness of immunization (p value > 0.05). Perceived suscepbility is indirectly related to the completeness of immunization through threats (p value 0.039 <0.05). Perceived severity is not related to the completeness of immunization through threats (p value 0.059 > 0.05). Conclusion: There is no relationship between socioeconomic status, mother's perception (health belief model) and immunization completeness status in infants aged 12 months in Dinoyo Village, Malang City.
