Abstract

Diare merupakan salah satu keluhan pada pencernaan yang ditandai dengan keluarnya feses yang encer lebih dari 3 kali sehari. Menurut WHO, diare pada anak meningkat hampir 1,7 miliar kasus setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan tinggnya kasus diare, perlu perlakuan khusus dari apoteker tertutama dalam peningkatan sikap dan perilaku apoteker dalam memberikan informasi obat diare anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sikap dan perilaku apoteker dalam memberikan informasi obat diare anak di Apotek Malang Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 158 responden apoteker di Malang Raya. Penelitian ini telah dinyatakan laik etik oleh Komisi Etik Penelitian Kesehatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya dengan nomor surat 225/EC/KEPK/10/2022. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan skor T, didapatkan 43% apoteker memiliki sikap positif dan 57% memiliki sikap negatif. Pada variabel perilaku, didapatkan 47% apoteker memiliki perilaku positif dan 53% memiliki perilaku negatif. Selain itu, didapatkan hasil p-value sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang yaitu 0,463. Hasil penelitian dapat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara sikap dan perilaku apoteker dalam memberikan informasi obat diare di Apotek Malang Raya.

English Abstract

Diarrhea is a digestive disorder characterized by the release of watery stools more than 3 times a day. According to WHO, diarrheal disease in children increases by nearly 1.7 billion cases each year. Based on the high cases of diarrhea, special treatment from pharmacists is needed, especially to improve the attitudes and behavior of pharmacists in providing information related to diarrhea drugs in children. This study aims to determine the relationship between the attitudes and behavior of pharmacists in providing information related to diarrhea drugs in children at Malang Raya Pharmacy. This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional research design and a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to 158 pharmacist respondents in Malang Raya. This research has been declared ethically feasible by the Health Research Ethics Commission, Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya with letter number 225/EC/KEPK/10/2022. Based on the results of data analysis using the T score, it was found that 43% of pharmacists had a positive attitude and 57% had a negative attituThe behavioral variable was found that 47% of pharmacists had positive behavior and 53% had negative behavior. In addition, a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained with a moderate correlation strength of 0.463. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between the attitudes and behavior of pharmacists in providing information related to diarrhea drugs to children at the Malang Raya Pharmacy.
