Abstract

Pantai Gatra termasuk kawasan pasang surut yang keanekaragaman makroorganismenya tinggi. Gastropoda Muricidae umumnya digunakan sebagai bioindikator logam berat karena merupakan predator yang terletak di bagian atas rantai makanan di ekosistem laut. Muricidae dapat mengakumulasi logam berat ke dalam tubuhnya dari air atau makanan melalui oral dan kulit. Kawasasan Pantai Gatra merupakan ekowisata berlokasi dekat dengan Pelabuhan Sendang Biru. Hal itu menjadikan daerah tersebut rentan terhadap terjadinya kerusakan lingkungan perairan oleh pencemaran logam berat Pb. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis morfometri dan nisbah kelamin, kandungan logam berat timbal (Pb) pada otot dan organ pencernaan gastropoda (famili: Muricidae) serta menganalisis perbedaan kandungan Pb pada kedua organ tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-April 2023. Lokasi sampling ditentukan dengan metode stratified random sampling yang dibagi mejadi 3 titik sampling. Data primer dan data sekunder didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengukuran kadar logam berat Pb dalam tubuh Muricidae menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Analitik FMIPA Universitas Brawijaya. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-T (Independent Sample T-test) untuk menganalisis perbedaan antara kandungan Pb pada tubuh Muricidae bagian organ pencernaan dengan kandungan Pb pada bagian otot. Nisbah kelamin muricidae berdasarkan uji Chi-Square diperoleh nilai Chi-Square hitung > Chi-Square tabel (5,627 > 3,841), sehingga terdapat perbedaan antara jumlah muricidae jantan dan betina di Pantai Gatra. Hasil rata-rata kandungan logam berat Pb pada otot muricidae di Pantai Gatra berkisar antara 1,40 ± 0,47 mg/kg-7,99 ± 1,76 mg/kg dan kandungan logam berat Pb pada organ pencernaan berkisar antara 1,40 ± 0,47 mg/kg-7,99 ± 1,76 mg/kg. Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan Uji-T (Independent Sample T-Test) menunjukkan Kandungan Pb pada titik sampling 1 dan 3 berbeda nyata antara bagian otot dan organ pencernaan (p < 0,05). Sedangkan Kandungan Pb pada titik sampling 2 tidak tidak berbeda nyata (p > 0,05). Nilai kandungan logam berat timbal (Pb) pada otot dan organ pencernaan gastropoda muricidae yang diukur dari Pantai Gatra berada di atas ambang batas SNI No. 7387 Tahun 2009, diduga karena kawasannya yang terletak di dekat Pelabuhan Sendang Biru dan dianggap sebagai jalur kapal nelayan dimana terdapat aktivitas kapal menggunakan bahan bakar bensin bertimbal. Saran yang dapat diberikan dari penelitian ini, yaitu karena kandungan Pb pada gastropoda muricidae di Pantai Gatra terdapat perbedaan nyata pada bagian otot dan organ pencernaan disarankan dilakukan penelitian lanjut tentang kemampuan tingkat akumulasi logam berat Pb organ tertentu pada tubuh muricidae seperti menganalisisnya dengan faktor bioakumulasi.

English Abstract

Gatra Beach is a tidal area filled with high macroorganisms. Muricidae gastropods are generally used as heavy metal bioindicators because they are predators located at the top of the food chain in marine ecosystems. Muricidae can accumulate heavy metals into their bodies from air or food through the mouth and skin. The Gatra Beach area is an ecotourism located close to Sendang Biru Harbor. This makes the area vulnerable to damage to the aquatic environment by heavy metal Pb pollution. This study aims to analyze the content of the heavy metal lead (Pb) in the muscles and digestive organs of gastropods (family: Muricidae) and to analyze the differences in Pb content in the two organs. The research was conducted in March-April 2023. The sampling location was determined using the stratified random sampling method which was divided into 3 sampling points. Primary data and secondary data were obtained using a survey method with a descriptive approach. Measurement of the levels of heavy metal Pb in the bodies of Muricidae using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) was carried out at the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry FMIPA Universitas Brawijaya. Data analysis used the T-test (Independent Sample T-test) to analyze the differences between the Pb content in the body of the Muricidae digestive organs and the Pb content in the muscles. The sex ratio of the muricidae based on the Chi-Square test obtained the calculated Chi-Square value > Chi-Square table (5.627 > 3.841), so there is a difference between the number of male and female muricidae on Gatra Beach.The average value of Pb heavy metal content in muricidae muscles in Gatra Beach ranged from 1.40 ± 0.47 mg/kg-7.99 ± 1.76 mg/kg and the heavy metal Pb content in the digestive organs ranged from 1.40 ± 0.47 mg/kg-7.99 ± 1.76 mg/kg. The results of statistical analysis using the T-test (Independent Sample T-Test) showed that the Pb content at sampling points 1 and 3 was significantly different between the muscles and digestive organs (p <0.05). Meanwhile, the Pb content at sampling point 2 was not significantly different (p > 0.05). The value of the heavy metal lead (Pb) content in the muscles and digestive organs of the gastropod muricidae as measured from Gatra Beach is above the SNI no. 7387 of 2009, because the area is located near Sendang Biru Harbor and is considered a barge lane where there are ship activities using lead gasoline. The advice that can be given from this study is that because it is known that the Pb content in muricidae gastropods at Gatra Beach there are significant differences in the muscles and digestive organs, so it is suggested that further research be carried out on the ability to increase the accumulation of heavy metal Pb in certain organs in the muricidae body such as analyzing it by factor bioaccumulation.
