Abstract
Wakaf merupakan bagian dari ibadah sosial dalam syariat Islam. wakaf adalah sebuah konsep filantropi islam berupa harta yang manfaatnya digunakan untuk kemaslahatan umum. Di Indonesia potensi wakaf baik tanah maupun tunai sangat besar, akan tetapi realisasinya masih jauh dari harapan. Beberapa penelitian telah menemukan bahwa kesenjangan ini terjadi karena kepercayaan masyarakat kepada Lembaga wakaf rendah. Secara khusus studi tentang kepercayaan kepada Lembaga wakaf telah dilakukan dengan fokus wakaf tunai. Dalam penelitian ini, fokus pembahasan menganalisis faktor yang memengaruhi kepercayaan masyarakat Indonesia kepada Lembaga Wakaf untuk jenis wakaf secara umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor eksternal dari sisi Lembaga wakaf terhadap kepercayaan masyarakat sebagai pihak yang berpotensi menyalurkan wakaf. Selanjutnya untuk menganalisis pengaruh dan hubungan tersebut metode kuantitatif dengan analisis Partiary Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan data primer hasil dari metode kuisioner. Metode tersebut dipilih karena variabel penelitian berbentuk variabel laten dengan indikator yang tidak baku. Penelitian ini menjelaskan hasil bahwa akuntabilitas Lembaga Wakaf dan Kualitas SDM Nazhir berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepercayaan masyarakat kepada Lembaga Wakaf. Sementara kepatuhan Syariah Lembaga berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap kepercayaan (Trust) masyarakat kepada Lembaga Wakaf. Studi ini diharapkan mampu menjadi referensi Lembaga Wakaf untuk mengevaluasi kinerjanya, dalam rangka menarik kepercayaan masyarakat untuk menyalurkan wakaf melalui Lembaga dan meningkatkan realisasi wakaf di Indonesia.
English Abstract
Waqf is part of social worship in Islamic Law. Waqf is a philanthropic social fund in the form of assets whose benefits are used for the public good. In Indonesia the potential waqf both land and cash is very large, but its realization is still far from the expectations. Several studies have found that this gap occurs due to low public trust in waqf Institutions. In particular, studies on trust in waqf Institution have been carried out with a focus on cash waqf. In this study, the focus of the discussion is to analyze the factors that influence the trust of the Indonesian people in waqf institutions for types of waqf in general. This study aims to determine the influence of external factors which are come from the waqf institutions on public trust, as a party that has the potential to distribute waqf. Furthermore, to analyze these influence and relationship, quantitative methods using partiary Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used as the tool of analysis With primary data results from the questionnaire method. This Method was chosen because the research variables are in the form of latent variables with non-standard indicators. This study explain a result that the accountability of Waqf Institution and Nadzhir HR Quality have a significant positive effect on public trust in waqf Institution. Meanwhile sharia compliance factor has positive effect but not significant. This study is expected to be a reference for waqf institutions to evaluate their performance, in order to attract public trust for giving waqf through waqf institutions and increase the realization of the potential waqf in Indonesia.
