Abstract

Tambak Udang Lucky Windu merupakan tambak milik perorangan yang terletak di Kabupaten Situbondo. meningkatnya kuantitas pakan udang dapat menimbulkan pengayaan unsur hara di tambak serta bertambahnya biomassa fitoplankton. Kelimpahan fitoplankton sangat dipengaruhi dengan keberadaan N dan P di perairan. Rasio N/P memiliki pengaruh terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton genus tertentu. Nilai rasio N/P yang baik untuk kehidupan fitoplankton yaitu 16/1. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis rasio N/P, menganalisis kelimpahan fitoplankton, dan menganalisis hubungan antara rasio N/P terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – April 2023 di Tambak Udang Lucky Windu Kabupaten Situbondo, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan analisis kualitas air dan fitoplankton dilaksanakan secara in situ (suhu, kecerahan, pH, dan oksigen terlarut) dan di Laboratorium BPBAP Kabupaten Situbondo (nitrat, orthofosfat, dan fitoplankton). Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu metode desktiptif. Jenis fitoplankton yang didapatkan selama penelitian di 5 stasiun yaitu terdiri atas 5 divisi yaitu Chlorophyta, Cryptophyta, Chrysophyta (Diatom), Cyanophyta, dan Pyrrophyta (Dinoflagellata) serta 19 genus. Kelimpahan relatif divisi Chlorophyta paling banyak ditemukan yaitu berkisar antara 42 – 49%. Total kelimpahan fitoplankton di Tambak Udang Lucky Windu yaitu berkisar 393 – 438 sel/ml. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman (H’) di seluruh stasiun berkisar antara 0.3172 - 0.3304. Nilai indeks dominansi (D) di seluruh stasiun berkisar antara 0.0371 - 0.0461. Hasil pengukuran nitrat berkisar antara 0.02 - 0.09 ppm. Hasil pengukuran orthofosfat berkisar antara 0.007 - 0.03 ppm. Analisis korelasi hubungan rasio N/P terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton yaitu sebesar + 0.89 atau korelasi kuat. Analisis regresi hubungan rasio N/P terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton di Tambak Udang Lucky Windu yaitu Y= 5.28+0.71X. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan rasio N/P terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton memiliki korelasi kuat, dimana setiap pertambahan 1% rasio N/P menyebabkan pertambahan 0.71% kelimpahan fitoplankton. Konsentrasi suhu berkisar antara 26 - 29˚C, kecerahan berkisar antara 35 – 80 cm, pH berkisar antara 7.5 – 8, DO berkisar antara 4.5 – 5.3 ppm. Saran yang dapat diberikan berupa perlu adanya pemantauan kualitas air yang sesuai dengan jadwal pihak tambak.

English Abstract

Lucky Windu Shrimp Farm is an individually owned pond located in Situbondo Regency. Increasing the quantity of shrimp feed can cause nutrient enrichment in ponds and increase phytoplankton biomass. The abundance of phytoplankton is strongly influenced by the presence of N and P in the waters. The N/P ratio has an influence on the phytoplankton abundance of a particular genus. A good N/P ratio value for phytoplankton life is 16/1. The purpose of this study is to analyze the N/P ratio, analyze phytoplankton abundance, and analyze the relationship between N/P ratio to phytoplankton abundance. This research was carried out in February – April 2023 at the Lucky Windu Shrimp Farm, Situbondo Regency, East Java. Water quality and phytoplankton analysis activities are carried out in situ (temperature, brightness, pH, and dissolved oxygen) and at the BPBAP Laboratory of Situbondo Regency (nitrates, orthophosphates, and phytoplankton). The method used in the implementation of this activity is the descriptive method. The types of phytoplankton obtained during research at 5 stations consist of 5 divisions, namely Chlorophyta, Cryptophyta, Chrysophyta (Diatoms), Cyanophyta, and Pyrrophyta (Dinoflagellates) and 19 genera. The relative abundance of the division Chlorophyta is most commonly found, ranging from 42 – 49%. The total abundance of phytoplankton in the Lucky Windu Shrimp Pond ranges from 393 – 438 cells / ml. Diversity index (H') values across stations ranged from 0.3172 - 0.3304. The dominance index (D) values across stations ranged from 0.0371 - 0.0461. Nitrate measurement results range from 0.02 - 0.09 ppm. Orthophosphate measurement results range from 0.007 - 0.03 ppm. Analysis of correlation the relationship of N/P ratio to phytoplankton abundance is + 0.89 or a strong correlation. Regression analysis of the relationship between N/P ratio and phytoplankton abundance in Lucky Windu Shrimp Farm, namely Y= 5.28+0.71X. This shows that the relationship between the ratio of N/P to phytoplankton abundance has a strong correlation, where every 1% increase in the N/P ratio causes an increase of 0.71% phytoplankton abundance. Temperature concentration ranges from 26 - 29°C, brightness ranges from 35 - 80 cm, pH ranges from 7.5 - 8, DO ranges from 4.5 - 5.3 ppm. Suggestions that can be given are in the form of the need for water quality monitoring in accordance with the schedule of the pond.
